the guy I was talking to admited he's going to use many accounts to vote no to make sure it doesn't go through which in my opinion should be reportable because it's not fair to the voting system.

You've got to be kidding, I can't believe it. Why does everybody want dung and summoning to be added instead of sailing in osrs? SERIOUSLY? If you like those skills so much then go back to rs3 or something, and no sailing is not a joke. I thought people here never wanted dung or summoning, but now i'm seeing a bunch of people say that it should be added. In my opinion, dung and summoning wouldn't be a good idea for oldschool, as it's already in rs3 and most of us have already seen what it's like. Also, I don't care if any of you see this as 07 rs or whatever, but if you wanted it to be 100% 07 then it's too late because plenty of things have already been added, things that were never in 2007. Without new content, our game will be the same thing, bossing, slayer, again and again and then it'll just get boring. Though I am against the new prayer idea, I don't mind the sailing skill in general. Damn, our community is total wack. I feel sorry for jagex. Anyways... I'll be voting yes for the skill.

It seems a lot like Dungeoneering and POP combined. I really disliked the idea of Dungeoneering being a skill, since you train it by training all of your other skills - Sailing is also sounding more like a minigame. However, I would be interesting in hearing more about it.

:D they said they will want our feedback and advise on stuff :D so it could become something quite impressive :D

I try not to be a fangirl about updates like this but, im super excited to see what more on this they have planned.

i'll have to see a bit more specifics on the skill before I would vote yes.

getting my hypes up before I know exactly whats in store could turn into another Dungeoneering letdown.

All the people who want Dung and Summ should go back to rs3.

It's quite apparent that the Old School team wants to go down a different path than rs3 took, and I think sailing is a perfect way to do that. It's a way to provide entirely new content that does not in any way effect the old Runescape world that we've come to know. I really look forward to this update!

I also find it quite funny that the people dead set against sailing haven't been around long enough to realize how Sailing is already a part of the Runescape experience. There has been hype for this skill since long before most of the no-sayers have even been playing.

For those of you saying "If you want summoning go play RS3" how about no? Rs3, in particular EOC, ruined summoning just like many other things. Those who like summoning want to see it be redeemed and possbily even made better on OSRS. Hell it doesn't even need to be summoning, it could be necromancy or conjuring, etc.
