Information (MATH) for those who can't math, and have cried because they couldn't math.

Splashing (fire strike) ((most common method))
Splashing (firestrike) = 13k exp hour (estimated highly)
You can only a.f.k 6 hour intervals
there are: 24 hours in a day.
24 divided by 6 = 4 potential times to a.f.k splash

13,000x6x4=
312,000
potential exp gained in 24 hours. Which =
Not
that much

lvl 99 magic =
13,034,431

13,034,431
divided by
312,000
=
42 (41.77
) that means to gain
13,034,431
exp you'd have to a.f.k for
42
consecutive days without logging out. which most people do half that amount of exp so take
312,000
divide by 2 =
156,000

13,034,431
divided by
156,000
=
83.5

days however since thats 2x out of the 4x a day that's only 12 hours..

take
83.5
days multiply it by 2 to figure out how long it'd take for 99 mage:
answer:
167 days

but since thats so devistating in regards to:
Barraging ape atol apes = roughly 300k/hr
alching = 55k/hr

M-aking
A-holes
T-hink
H-arder.

Bro, why do you keep re-posting the same post multiple times?

not the same post, someone told me it wasn't 8k an hour, so i had to fix it to be more accurate.

Where do i begin?
2nd problem:
_____________________________________________________________________
I personally believe dying in any level wilderness with an non-trade-able item shouldn't be converted to gold. but Left for the owner to try and reclaim, if it's lost it's lost.
_____________________________________________________________________

I personally believe you shouldn't be able to take any non-tradeable items into the wilderness. The whole point of going into the wild with good gear is that you're RISKING that good gear for a better chance of beating your opponent. Adds risk for you, but it increases the chance you will win a fight. And it adds reward for someone who beats you in a fight.

You take in untradeables and you get an advantage with very little risk. And no reward for your opponent if they win. They should not be allowed in the wild if you ask me.

Personally i came back to old school for just that, old school. If they never add a update i would be fine with it. Sure updates like ooo i can buy staked vials for herblore are so much better, but seriously people, i do hope they think before they add more splash or other updates and the old ways are gone, it was the whole point of bringing it back....

Once again mages caters towards melee!

Complete BS.

The percentages to fix splashing and NMZ were the exact same.....why is only splashing getting nerfed?!

You cannot say it takes commitment and effort to be able to do NMZ and then reward them by allowing players to max their accounts in a month....

How is maxing 1 combat(magic) in a mmonthworse for the integrity of osrs than being able to max all of the melee skills?

According to Jagex if you work hard to get your account to a certain Lvl it's okay if you cheat from that point on.....makes no sense at all.

Either bring back splashing or get rid of NMZ. It's both or none.

Since people don't get difference between how our polling system work's and how our
J mod's system of decision work i will explain it in simple terms.

Jagex have stated they will change update if it's either unintended or harm's game.
They do not need state in what way it harms game only that it does.

Majority do not need to believe this harms game as if jagex believe's from their data analysis that it's harmful they have right to fix it as an unintended consequence of a game update that was intended but byproduct of this fix or added update was damaging game then they this problem can be removed or adjusted without poll.

you do not have all information to make an informed decision on weather a by product or an unintended consequence of update harms game or not jagex does and it is their game and their result's they have that they make decisions from in first place.

majority of game still thought afk mage was damaging and jagex believe's that's enough to change afk splashing do not forget this was not an intended purpose but a byproduct of having no randoms so is clearly an unintended consequence of removing randoms so jagex have all the right fix it.

glad see commission staking dealt with not surprised it's 60% i'd have figured it was higher.

I feel with the untradeable poll we should make it so that if you lose a fire cape or torso you can buy it back for a considerable amount of gp, think of it as an(insurance just like with our pets?? I know it took me 15 attempts for my 1st fire cape and to disconnect and lose it tore me apart. I then re did jad several times to get it back as it is an item I must have, just don't make it stackable if you purchased it the 2nd time around
