I find it odd that the adventurer has never gone to see his family after becoming super wealthy. I would assume that after getting tens of millions of gp and having a mansion he/she would help support their family, but maybe not. I would assume that this means that the Adventurer's family is either dead or has disowned them perhaps.

It'd be cool if we had a quest that was quite custom and had several options that let you make your backstory more concrete, but is still decided by the player.

Well the last thing I remember was waking up in lumbridge holding a tinderbox, a hatchet, and a hunk of meat with no memory of how I got there.

Obviously I brewed myself an amnesia elixir to forget the horrible atrocities I did to that poor family.
Sometimes at night I still hear the screams.
I ate that meat.

That or I ran into a tree after running to pick up the drops of a goblin. One of those.
Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

No, no, no! That was a dream you see. You woke up from that and found yourself in middle of a battle in Burthope. Although that turned out to be a dream too, and you woke up in the real reality where your stepdad is a dwarf, and he and everyone else in your hometown brewed themselves an amnesia elixir.

Probably to forget about all the monsters and necromancers who try to take over the town and kill everyone on a monthly basis.

There is a question as to whether we are still human. In Fot* (at least, according to wikia) Azzanadra questions whether the player is still a human. This fits with Jagex's treament of many NPC*, who've gained enough power to become more than their species - the mortal-born Gods and Nex being examples of no longer being their birth race.

@locodave:

We can start with white hair, but not wrinkles. Frankly, white makes more sense than magenta.

Perhaps it's one of those "anime hair" things, like how the player character of fire emblem: Awakening has default white hair.

Sorry, I can't support your idea, *P. One of my favorite things about Runescape is how you're not playing someone with a set personality, backstory...hell, the player character doesn't even have a set gender, appearance or name. It really opens up countless possibilities for those who roleplay or write fan fiction about their characters.

If Jagex writes an official profile for the player the chances of satisfying everyone is...oh there's no way in hell they can satisfy everyone since everyone has a different view of what their character's like. I have a very specific view of what mine's like, and I would be extremely ****** off if Jagex's profile is nothing like what I had in mind.

For the record, my character looks sort of like my avatar, except is hair is a very light shade of blond rather than silver/white and his eyes are purple, and he looks a lot better than my ugly ass avatar. He started adventuring after his parents were killed by goblins who raided Lumbridge and he's descended (or rather his family claims to have descended) from a legendary Gielinor hero.

There's absolutely a 0% -666% chance Jagex would get all that. Even if they do, my friend, who inspired me to write Runescape fan fic of my own (if you're reading this you know who you are ;) ) would be so mad 'cause her player character's nothing like mine. And it's not just my friend, load of other people, (who all have a different player character profile in mind would rage**

**;DR: an official character profile wouldn't work for a game like Runescape and would only **** off the roleplayers/writers of the community.
