Nobody will know any of the names that are being released this time, which should help prevent that from happening.
If you've added names the moment the news was announced a few months ago and those names now have a playerhash like "[#A98DSQ6]" you know it'll become available. All they have to do is calculate what day the names become available and keep the scripts ready. Without the minimum of Total Level/XP it's gonna be quite easy for them.

What a fken bad idea.
Not like i care about this name but some ppl could have "rare" names on accounts what they are using.
I DONT think this is a good idea.
Whole runescape is going so bad that at least now "these days players" will stop playing this.
I understand if its like giving names that are banned/unused or accounts what have been offline like 2years and are really unused.
IF its like giving names like Zezima/rare names wich are daily/weekly/monthly online and really In use DONT fken give those out.
Some of you idiot "mods" or whole "company" just got a shttiest plan ever.
If you are going so low to give these "names" to ppl who dont deserve them just stop updating this game. Name's must be unique for each player and a fken holy thing for those who have rare name. DONT TOUCH!
People might had a luck to get one of the names they really like and you giving them away?
