Look idk where to post this, but some guy ingame name sussed is harrassing me, followed me to 3 different worlds in the abyss and i keep reporting him but nothing I say or tell this guy makes a difference. what do I do and what other actions can I take to go about this before I call the police and ask them this is serious law breaking isnt it? harrassment is a serious offence and whether it be online or in person harrassment is harrasment, right or wrong?

I think you are right. You might not get the attention you want right away. Two solutions I can think of, stop playing take a break for two days, or run, go to bank teleport switch worlds. It would take a lot of work to find you in different worlds, you could switch activity, too. These are in the meantime while you are waiting for attention from Jagex, and the action of banning happens. I think you can add people to the blocked list, you should do that, too.

1. this thread is about the name release of 2017, not 2018 (we most likely won't have one this year.
2. No it does not delete the account, it only removes the name. If a player logs in after their name is removed they can pick a new name upon login.
3. I wish you good luck on your hunt for your precious name (i am in the same situation you are in, we can only wait and pray)

Tip: Look up what clan they are in, ask around in that clan for ways to get in touch with the person. You might get lucky and obtain that RSN you have always wanted :) i like trains
