Is there still a way to get your old name back?
Sadly I have been warned by friends a little bit late (and it's not like I have been absurdly inactive, I never been in active for more than a year. I saw people naming last seen dates dating back from 2012, which is not comparable to my case at all.) Also, it's not like my name was just a random combination of things it actually means quite a lot to me and having it taken away like this feels like being backstabbed by a 2h sword :/ especially when the game has meant quite a lot to you and brightened dark times in your past. Tbh a bit salty about this.

Edit: I am not a die hard, know every in and out about gaming kind of person, my account was linked to an old email address never thought about updating it for something like this to happen. Runescape has always been my happy place to escape to when things got rough. A game that cheered me up. It's sad to return to that very same happy place and be reaped of your name.

I literally hate this update you never can get a name you want all it does is raise your hopes and crush them i've not even been able to get a mildy good name it's absolutely absurd like if there's next to nothing to release in comparison to the amount of people trying to snipe names then please dont bother you're playing with my emotions i know that for a fact and i didnt sign up for a treasure hunter spinning my way hoping to get a damn warped trailblazer suit. what next common slot. its a joke like i'd rather take a hot spoon to my eyes because thats how they feel when you've had only 5 hours sleep and you wake up with your eyes burning trying to get a new name which is actually impossible to get. thanks for the added extra waste.
