Not sure. But if they want to use that to keep low leveled item valuable having them as an ingredient for high level items is a better solucion as most people whould go for a 99 only once. And high level items once at that stage whould be ussefull which whould make lower level items in demand.

It whould make lower level players have a good way of making decent money as higher levels whould nead the ingredients.

The game is very top-heavy. Therefore a system like the Prestige one would have been a great idea in the sense of it making low-level things popular once again. It would make the playerbase be spread once again, so to say. But I still voted no to this system, with the main motivation that those who already have a top position on the hiscores shouldn't lose it due to the current hiscores simply getting replaced and that I think allowing multiple characters on one account is a much better idea. By allowing us, the players, to do this it will also be possible to replay quests and tasks (there could also be an option to have all quests/tasks completed already, for a big fee of course. Doing this could also act as a potential moneysink). Then the total levels/xp over these accounts could be what your rank on the hiscores would be based on.

Anyway, no matter what suggested ideas come next, I am happy that you, Jagex, did this poll and listened to your players. I look forward to seeing more suggestions on how to fix this growing 'elitism' we have in the game. Rite of Passage - Explore a new world, learn about the aviansie and ancient secrets!

Well jagex, I'm thoroughly impressed, thanks for giving us the poll and decision on whether this should be in or not, it has reminded us we have power and are not well, guinea pigs lol ;)

I did vote No due to fear of more elitism being caused by those who prestiged, and even though I may not have any 99's, I don't believe it was best for the community.
