If they suggested to raise all the skills to 120, i'm pretty sure it will get the same poll as prestige and die. :|

But I do agree that it would be nice to see some sort of Level update.

Thank you for the poll. I voted no as with it there is no end to the skilling.

Only good thing that it whould bring is that economy whould improve. But if improving the economy is the goal, prestige is not the way. One way to keep low level items valuable is to have a use for them as a high level ingredient at same of some other skill. Like level 40 crafting ruby neclesses are used to make second highest level 88 sign of the portent of restoration.

Disappointed that prestige did not go through. 20% difference is not much between against and for prestige. Please consider tweaking it and I am confident that the next time you ask the community again, people would be voting for prestige more than the latter.

What if there was a prestige limit like 3 prestige levels max in each skill (or 1 time going prestige in each skill).

Would you vote yes then?

oh. i would like a new weapon pls...
somthing simular to the rapier as my combat is scaled high, but im stuck with weapons like whip and no good combat xp npc's.
and no, i dont want to have to play hours and hours of skullnumbing dungeoneering ( i hate dung from the start, maybe we should have a poll about that to.. wine wine wine ;P ) or high risk my life at Kalphite king to get a weapon to fit my combat level. i just want to train ^^

Polls are best used when players know the full dynamic of the content.

E.g. osrs votes, prestige, trade, "Name this Boss," or "remove a content."

Polls are wastes of Jagex's time if the players don't know what will happen.

E.g. dungeoneering release, EoC.


No one could have demanded an EoC poll, because no player understood the complexity of the project, the goals, the future changes, the private Jagex plans, or its potential.

Wow it's so great what's going on here! Even though the community clearly did not want Prestige - the feedback in this thread is amazing!

I will be honest and didn't vote. If I did I would've voted for it because it stands as a clear competition motive for high level players who.. in reality need something to do! This game is finite with finite amount of things to accomplish and earn and obtain. Since we were unable to get prestige - and even though I'm not a high level player (yet!) I'd like to see more high level content on its way. Not just nice armor - but a storyline, a quest, maybe a new area of the map to go with it!
