Was the dark lord meant to be Seren from the start? Or a different god entirely? Or something else?

We'll never know. Their true intentions are lost to time and this is the canon conclusion of the elf storyline now.

It is just a Fragment of Seren, not really Seren or the "Dark Lord".

I think you may not really see Seren or other gods in OSRS. They are just myths and perhaps will remain myths for a long long time over there.

OSRS devs were so lazy they copied RS3's Seren appearance in the song of the elves osrs quest for the boss and made her black colored and they also copied all the clan names.

Jagex needs to stop ripping it off itself. If it wasn't jagex there would be a lawsuit.

Why couldn't OSRS be original for once? Which is why the Eastern Lands Continent should be the next Expansion in RS3.

I'm playing it right now:

The Old School version of the quest is better.

If anything just as much yell at RS3 for ripping off OSRS's idea of fossil island. :P

Jagex owns both games, what do you expect them to do, sue themselves? Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

I really don't see any OSRS Fossil Island idea in Anachronia.

OSRS can copy all the brand new Base Camp, Totems, BGH, multiple-way, Island-wise Agility Course mechanics, and of course, dinosaurs from Anachronia to make it look more like Anachronia though. It is never too late. :)

But then, OSRS will also have to remove all the Kudos requirements and fossils among a lot of other things too.

Every OSRS update brings it closer and closer to RS3.

This week, OSRS copies RS3's Chaos Elemental fast respawn mechanics:

"The Chaos Elemental now spawns substantially quicker - from 2.5 minutes to 60 seconds."


Of course, fast respawn means more fun killing, more loot and more xp... a fast track to achievements and in game fulfillment instead of boring grind and wait zzzzz mechanics. :D

Well, One Spidey could be Parker, the other one might be Venom or Carnage or another Symbiote. Actually they are different.

No. Spidey is not going to sue Venom et al though. :)
