Original message details are unavailable.
Devs of OSRS also worked as Devs for RS3 content, no stealing whatsoever, just utilizing knowledge efficiently and low in cost.

Yes, some current OSRS team members were RS3 or the shared Mobile and Engine team members too, especially some who replaced the ones who left the OSRS team the last few months. Of course they brought the good ideas from RS3.

If there was OSRS Jmods going to RS3 with good idea, I'd expect some nice OSRS ideas in discussion over in RS3 too... however, apparently no such OSRS Jmods in the RS3 teams and nice OSRS ideas just don't exist.

We also have to realize art is more based on personal idea and creativity. The fact the OSRS team hired their character artists but still used similar assets of Fragment of Seren and such in their games simply show you the OSRS artists think the ideas in RS3 are creative and very good for OSRS and they don't even have to pick their brains trying too hard to create something better. :)

Borrowing ideas, maybe.

But the term stealing is misplaced. Jagex's cannot steal from its own Intellectual Property.

Thread moved to Rants forum section, as the OP sounds like ranting more than expressing a neutral thought.

Sure, why not? If there is something I want to play, I don't care if it is OSRS or RS3. I like quests and lore, that's why I did OSRS quests too. I hate the grind, bots and spammers and scammers in OSRS, I don't do the grind and deal with the garbage part of OSRS. It is my choice to do or don't do whatever in whichever games, regardless of whether something is copied or not. It is my choice, my powers! :)

Glad that I see Fragment of Seren in OSRS. Even it is just a fragment of a God, it has nice RS3 ideas and feeling. A step in the right direction by the OSRS team. Now that when is Guthix going to do something in OSRS? I'd like to see him wake up and either die like he did in RS3 or remove the stupid Edict. :D

Yes I agree the rs3 lore is awful. No wonder you prefer osrs.

Sorry, I prefer the rich and meaningful RS3 lore with a main story line 9000 times more than OSRS. RS3 lore and quests are the main course, the OSRS ones are the gravy. But I don't hate gravy, especially when the chef adjusted the gravy to make it goes better with the Main Course. :)

Don't see how "poor" I am. I enjoy my main course, and I still the the choice to taste the gravy or just throw it to the garbage bin.

I get my choices. I get my powers. It is pretty good to the players already. I am glad Jagex gives us Fragment of Seren in OSRS, so I can at least taste the gravy. :)

No. Although quests like SoTE in OSRS are similar to their great RS3 equivalence, they are not "shit" quests. They are just gravy comparing to the RS3 Main course. :)
