I, Katrina J306, , ask that Jagex don't remove the forums" I used to belong to the SkillNStoof clan for many years. I am now between clans but used the forums to research joining a clan again and I am pretty sure Anarchy Dogs will be it for me. I also regularly use the D and D distractions part of forum reading posts for info on penguins, stars, ports and more without logging in. are you going to move and integrate the archived forums into Runescape wiki?? That would be more acceptable to me than getting rid of it. The forums are also good for troubleshooting technical issues.
To be honest, my next step will be to call the Corporation headquarters directly. I would like to know if someone is getting a kickback to try to force us all onto these other platforms that many of us do not use or no longer use for very good reasons. There needs to be a poll and more transparency and possible reconsideration on this issue. I understand that the company is for sell, if it is a matter of money renting space on a website, that needs to be explained. Some of these other 3rd party apps are currently changing how they are run and attempting to charge money for using and posting in their apps. Often there is no good indexing nor cross correlation to other threads such as you have on these forums. As a result for researching and trouble shooting and sharing tips, this forum is much more effective and efficient. The others are not very well organized for referencing.
If it is a matter of hitting your company in the paycheck- I would be happy to stop buying keys, bonds, etc and other in game spending every few months from which you get a hefty little amount from me every year to show my unhappiness and strong disagreement over the poorly judged and poorly explained illogical decision to get rid of the forums completely. and for removing any access to them for research, clan recruitment, trades, d and d and mini game weekly help and posting.
