So, we've passed the 2 month mark with nobody addressing the FMR thread.
Does anyone who's posted since 10 March remember what their post was about? Doubt it.
Precisely the point made in the second paragraph of the first post.
It's an utterly ridiculous situation, and proof that the system is broken.
I still remember which issues I have addressed and that's not because I saved them in any sort of file.
The most important reason to post in Forum Moderation Review is to address a situation to Jagex/JMods.
I am not waiting for a crisp & clear answer about who is right and who is wrong.
What I do is monitoring what I've addressed is worked out or not, thereby I do know that what I had posted was valuable or not, Jagex/JMods agree/disagreeing with me.
What we players address should benefit the whole of The RuneScape Community, not our personal interests.

Okay, but the point still stands that the FMR is being constantly neglected.

Where it comes to reoccurring issues involving the same individuals/group of individuals that might be the case.
The fact that is hasnt been addressed for over two months now has nothing to do with individuals / groups.
Two months between reviews makes it unfit for purpose.
I dont see how you can construct a sane argument to the contrary.

Whomever said that an rebuttal needed to be sane to have merit?
As to the initial issue on necessity of removing FMR we can only jab the J-mods so many times with a cattle prod. We want it done just as much as y'all do. We know the review process has begun of the backlog, just can't say with any certainty when it will conclude.

Yeah well you see, this is part of the problem - no
communication
. The rest of us have no idea that the process has even started.
And if it there was time (or the staff) to check FMR regularly, the backlog wouldn't have built up in the first place. I mean, I remember the days when it was meant to be a DAILY requirement for the staff responsible for the Forums...
All of which just points to its being unfit for purpose, for whatever reason.

If a Jmod posted 'sorry for the delay, it'll be another minimum X amount of time before we're able to do this', would be better than leaving it blank with no communication, its the unknown that scares people

This may be a good idea, but what will happen when said J-Mod is not able to comply with such a time frame? You will have those individuals that will probably chastise the J-Mod for not completing the review on the time that was mentioned. I know this may be better than no communication at all, but it is still something to consider.

I remember them days too and thats when we had lots and lots of staff to do that. Sadly these days it's down to 1 person and if She is busy then it's left.
As Tranq said part of it has been done upto which part Im not sure. Rest is done when it can be done.
Also this thread isn't being ignored. It's been passed along. It has eyes on it daily to see if we can update you all.
