It would surprise me. We were told they were already competent at the point they were employed. We were told that is explicitly why they were brought in.
Imo, it has nothing to do with what Jagex 'deem', rather their inability to give them JMod status. It is a technical problem. And it has been like this for many years at this point.
I would be astonished if it ever happens. In fact I would bet that it wont. Because it cant. For reasons.

I have no doubt Jagex think CMs are competent, but again, the ever evolving REGULATIONS may require Jagex to give them more training.

Yes, but we are veering off the topic of this thread: FMR.
The purple mods cant deal with that regardless of the amount of training they get, because Jagex have proved unable to make that work for years and years.
This is a technical rather than a regulatory issue.

That said, you do have a point that it is possible that someone will have to deal with FMR for those same regulatory issues.

I dont believe for a moment that it will be the purple mods going gold that will solve the issue. Were it practical, it would have been done years ago. Dont forget that Jagex are paying, at least in part, for services from the purple mods they cannot receive for a problem on Jagex's end.
Their minds are unlikely to need more focusing than that.

We are right on topic because the "purple mods" are hired to take over FMR eventually, or at least this was Jagex's original plan.

FYI, Mod Kari is leaving Jagex after Oct 27, somebody else will be taking over FMR in a couple of weeks perhaps.

And in regards to the whole debacle about CMs becoming JMod accounts, this Mod Cam fellow claimed that the guy who made JMod accounts was on vacation. This was a few years ago. Man, that must be some vacation....

Furthermore, Mods Niku and Warder are also departing: Mod Niku and Mod Warden .

Now, this means that there will be a further delay on FMR and we don't know when and if Mod Miva is taking over, as referenced by Mod Kari above.
