I reported this issue in July, couldnt play so quit. Came back and have been fine for the last month for it to happen again out of no where for the last two days. Yesterday I managed to play using my mobile data but today that has not worked.

They have finally admitted its a fault but as above I reported it in July and they kept thinking I meant the 'to many login attempts from this IP' bug. Another bug with a lack of support.

I haven't been able to log in to my account for almost the entire year, except rarely, so a whole year of membership mostly wasted, even if I paid with bonds, if I have membership I should be able to log in and play nd not get a message saying too many log in attempts when its the first attempt to log into the game all day, sometimes the first time in a week or a month or longer.
There can't be too many log in attempts from my address when I haven't been able to log in at all for days or weeks or even months at times. I've pretty much given up on this game and went to other games that actually let players log in and play.

No response to ticket sent, so customer support seems non existent lately.

If Jagex can't run security without locking out legitimate players, then they need a new security system that can do its job properly, because obviously the system they have now is locking out far too many players and making players who have played for 20 years want to quit.

I went from playing daily to not being able to play for months at a time.

I had the same issue upon returning today after some months. Managed to log in on my mobile network but not via my usual internet provider. So strange. Looks like I'm not actually returning, then, until this problem is completely fixed their end.

Got this trouble two days ago. Now I can log in only via mobile hotspot. Created ticket in Support... But I saw that this trouble could not be resolved for a long time... quite pity and disappointing

For anyone still with this problem I found a fix!!! Search for "cmd" on your computer, right click and run as administrator, type "netsh winsock reset" and hit enter. It will tell you to restart your computer, do so. This fixed it for me!

Today the error started to affect my account.
I can't access it at all.
Even changing passwords several times and all credentials and I still have this problem, I tried all solutions to renew IP and etc ... and nothing, jagex support does not answer emails and my account works on my phone, but on my computer I can't log in, the strangest thing that my iron man account works on all devices completely, now my main account doesn't!
Cade the jagex and the support to help me?

I want to log into my account, I want help from the company and the moderators.

I can't access by mistake for many attempts, and from what I see, everyone has this error.

Jagex, where's our help?

It's an issue that Jagex are aware of, but not a lot can be done at present time. You can locate their posts here .

Please try:
- setting up a mobile hotspot and connect to that from your computer.
- link Google or Facebook to your account, and sign in through them instead.
- link your account to Steam and use the Steam client.
- use the Vanilla Jagex client.
- you can try using VPN, but at that point it'd be an idea to consider playing from Mobile instead.

Support Centre has an article on this issue, where you can also report the issue for Jagex to look up and compare your issue to others.
