This is an example ... not to mock the moderator ... but a perfect example of what the future will be if you continue to do this your way.
For months I am close watching 2 of my computers how they deal with 'OS-updates/program-updates/RuneScape-game-updates' altogether and it is complex to experience, as many updates already passed, difficult to say what influences what and in which order.

So you wanna send in FMods to check for facts, can you find FMods who have similar computers like mine?

Leaving this thread, as your arguments are weak.

Nobody can compel us to make such judgement based-on our opinion on what game info is misleading or not. Goodluck finding an fmod who wish to take-on that kind of added role of fact-checking.

No matter how you package it, you ask the fmod team to do fact-checking because you see it as important. Can't blame you for it, but from my end just one message:

Spare us...
Well said, Louiellen. I believe that ends it. Thanks for sharing that ^_^ .

But if you swap your original proposal of adding a tag saying "Misleading" to one saying "Citation Needed", then surely that applies to an enormous swathe of things posted to these forums?
People commonly post things that are questionable and are asked to provide proof or sources.
Indeed, some of your own statements in this thread have turned out to be questionable. Certainly they have been questioned.
From my point of view, this changes this proposal to something that was barely practical to completely impractical and counter-productive.
At least two of my sentences above would have to be labelled as such.

I am not "swapping" any proposal at all. The fact remains "citation needed" or "bugs" or whatever words you can think of only represent the opinion of the person who put up such label. Nobody is required to add any "citation" or prove any proof whether they are "bugs" or not.

... Fmods add the labels, not the players or Jmods. Jmods don't have to do a thing. Still don't get it?
Where do FMods get 'ALL that Knowledge' if nobody has to do 'anything'?

I do get it ... more than you do. ;)

Fact-checking based upon the knowledge that's impossible to retrieve basically comes down to harassing players because you do not have the answers/resources/intel/knowledge. ;)

Again x 9001, the label is only the KNOWLEDGE of the Fmod who puts it up which should be in his comment in the thread already. There is actually no fact-checking required and the Fmod is not harassing anybody with such a label because he already made such a comment in the thread already.

Of course nobody should mock the moderator in this "example" because he just relayed the Jmod's official comment. I am sure the CM in your example didn't "check for fact" at all because Jagex checked the facts on their end already and the CM just told us the already checked fact.

Original message details are unavailable.
There are some great suggestions in here. A few are long requested features and things that
I'd love for our team to get the time to work on, unfortunately as you may know other things are taking priority at the moment (and will be for some time)

One day we'll get round to the forums, I hope. I think regardless of its problems, its a great resource for us to be able to gather feedback just like this :)

Like Mrs Ana shared, the forums aren't [regrettably] our current priority, and we're working hard on some big development sized work at the moment.
I'll keep your thread on our community suggestions notes though and relay this to the rest of the team, if we manage to get round to updating these hallowed halls.

Thanks,
Mod Lyon

Found what Mod Lyon wrote in its entirety here (Page 1, Post 10):

Let me fill in what you have left totally out of context:

"
Thanks so much for the suggestions. Some new and not so new suggestions there.

I think there are some we're more likely to think about than others,
I don't feel the "active users now" is accurate and just leads to some of our users misunderstanding because of it, for example so we'd leave any further activity monitor our of updates and frankly probably get rid of the existing one. It doesn't add much value."

What Mod Lyon meant was clearly they are still entertaining suggestions on improving the forums, and they can still work on some of our suggestions regarding the forums and websites?
