What's the secret behind getting Turtling 3? I've made somewhere between 50 and 100 gizmos using 5 evasive components everytime and I have yet to get anything that wasn't Turtling 2 + Cautious/Venomblood ;_;

So I heard, 4 Evasive + 1 Base is good? I'm not entirely sure.

EDIT That centre slot...Until proven otherwise, I have to believe there is something to it.
In this case, moving from position 3 and 4 to position 1 and 2 clearly had an impact.

Use placement 2, replace one of the Dex with Subtle. Higher chance of Mobile over Reflexes :D

As a rule of thumb I put the harder to get components first, then the cheaper one. So it will be direct direct direct subtle dex. With Subtle east and dex south. Questing Clan of Runescape , T7 Citadel, capping not compulsory. Free cabbage.

It's extremely rng. Evasive is pretty much the best component that gives Turtling 3 according to wiki, at 1-3 with 5 Evasive. I got 2 Turt3 without venomblood in around 300 comps, roughly 60 gizmos. The rest were all Turt2 venomblood, no exception. 120+cape boost. My friend with 120 got Turt3 venomblood in 10 tries and told me how easy it was! Kakamile's spreadsheet however states 4 Evasive. Worth a try..

Shield bashing as well, but instead of evasive it's protective/swift. But to get shield bashing 3 hoarding you need 5 protective for the best chance. Or else it will be consistent shield bashing 2 hoarding. I used 1 swift at centre and 4 protective, got Shield Bashing 3 demon bait pretty consistently. Questing Clan of Runescape , T7 Citadel, capping not compulsory. Free cabbage.

Relatively speaking, it was for me. All my other gizmos took less than 10 tries with optimal placement and comps. And I need to make another turt3 since I put 1 of the 2 I have on seasinger top instead of shield, and I will probably stick with it till I get achto primeval top. 2/15.. Questing Clan of Runescape , T7 Citadel, capping not compulsory. Free cabbage.
