Good day everyone!

Welcome to Boss School - a PvM teaching FC dedicated to helping unexperienced players get their feet wet at a certain boss or helping more experienced players simply look for a team to PvM with.

I know some people are not very experienced PvMers and are seeking assistance with many things PvM related (although that may be a rarity here in HLF), so we would like to help everyone with that and help improve at all aspects of PvMing. So if you need to learn any bosses, need help to defeat any bosses, need help with reaper tasks, or are simply getting killcount for Final Boss… that’s what we’re here for!

We do FFA + split, unless stated otherwise (for Vorago only seismics will be split, and for RotS and Raids unique drops are not split).

Note: This is not a place for people to simply get their one kill for Reaper titles/comp requirements. This is an FC that wants to teach people bosses in order to camp for more money/fun of their own.

Regular Ranks


Smiley : Players who have went PvMing with us at least once.

Recruit : Players who are starting to become a regular to the FC, show a bit of PvM skill right off the bat.

Corporal : Players who shows more dedication and PvM skill over Recruit.

Sergeant : Players who shows even more dedication and skill over Corporal. This is the highest rank obtained naturally. Knowing a few low-end roles at bosses like Vorago and Raids is helpful, but not required.

Teacher Ranks


Lieutenant
: Teachers that know at least three high-end roles at bosses like Vorago and Raids.

Captain
: Very good teachers that pass certain trials/challenges, in addition to knowing every single role in the game.

General
: Owners of the FC and/or among the best teachers.

NOTE: These are only highly recommended requirements for the below bosses. The actual host in question can have their own standards of what to do.

Raids
: T90 weapons, T80+ perked armor, supreme overloads, 95 Prayer, 96 Summoning
Vorago
/
Barrows: Rise of the Six
: T85 weapons, T80+ (perked) armor or Void, overloads, 95 Prayer, 96 Summoning, Drakan’s medallion (for Rise of the Six only)
God Wars Dungeon 2
: T80 weapons, T70+ armor
Other bosses
: A will to learn. Doesn’t matter what gear you got!

- Asylum surgeon’s ring/ring of death + ring of vigour
- (Elite) Enhanced Excalibur
- Keris with Desert amulet 3+ (for Kalphite King only)
- Superior elite Void
- Reaper necklace/amulet of souls/blood necklace
- Superior scrimshaw of attack/vampyrism/cruelty/elements
- Completion of Desert Treasure, Lunar Diplomacy, and The Light Within for Ancients, Lunars, and Seren spells

FAQ


Q : What sets us apart from everyone else?
A : We strive to teach anyone and everyone, with no prejudice.

Q : Do you charge?
A : Not at all, this is a free service.

Q: What are the limits to teams I have?
A : This is based on a mutual agreement with your party members.

Q : Do you need to be a rank to host?
A : Nope! Anyone that comes in can host a team.

However, advertising leech FCs in ours is strictly prohibited . You will be given a warning at first, and repeated offenses will cause a kick. The only time where you can go into another FC to boss is if it’s mainly with people outside of our FC and need to organize each other more easily.

Q : What if I don’t meet the requirements above for the boss?
A : The host decides whether or not you can come. Note that they’re only my recommended requirements - they are not hard-set requirements. It can go the other way; the host may require higher requirements than listed above.

Q : How often do you have ranks active for (insert boss here)?
A : Ask in the FC and you may find out!

Q : Will you ever host masses?
A : Typically, masses don't gather much interest, so we refrain from trying to host a mass at a weekly basis. However, if there is some very strong interest in masses, we will host. And of course, there's always spontaneous masses that can pop up at any point in time.

Interested and want to apply to become a teacher? Then you may be interested in this post - an application to become a teacher! We are always looking to expand our list of ranks.

There are two ways to become a rank: either progressing from the bottom-up from smiley to Sergeant then expressing interest in becoming one without much trouble, or post here in the thread expressing your interest!

Check the offsite for more information for more information about what's expected. As a preview though:

Lieutenant
: Must be able to do at least three high-end roles (mostly tank roles) at bosses like base tank Raids/Vorago, bomb tank Vorago, solo a side at RotS with Karil.

Captain
: Must be able to bomb tank a trio Vorago kill on a nihil, bomb tank 3 kills in one trip on a nihil, base Raids bosses on a titan.

FC Raids/Hard Mode Vorago Team


Every day, us owners host either Raids or Hard Mode Vorago. Our times for this generally range from 18:00 to 22:00, with varying start times depending on our schedules. The full calendar can be found on our offsite, but unless something happens, we will always have a session daily at around this time.

Raids


To get in a Raids team with us, please ask in the FC, PM, or Discord (under #lessons) ahead of time to get a spot at a certain day. If you do not show up on that day, your spot will be replaced by someone else.

Unless stated otherwise in FC or Discord, we will adhere to these times.

Hard Mode Vorago


Our team has requirements. You need:

- 100 Normal Mode KC
- Know a tank role

OR

- Know both tank roles

Times and sessions are all announced inside the FC, the Discord, and the offsite (in that order). Keep an eye out for that!
