If I may be honest, it's because I find your posts to be very SJW-esque.

Like, bruh- just telling people to "re-read" your posts when you, yourself, admitted your explanation skills are garbage does me no good, especially when I had a fair bit of adult beverage to consume.

Sorry you feel that way. I only ever tell people to re-read something when I have already written it and it's something that can be used to answer whatever question. And of course this is about me. You're not talking to anyone else but me. I speak for myself on these kinds of issues because I know most of my experiences and opinions differ greatly from others'.

Also, to admit that you've had an "adult beverage" doesn't help your case, either, pal.

EDIT: I had to look up what 'SJW' means, and it still confuses me, because, in my interpretation, 'SJW' used to be synonymous to an egalitarian, which is a good thing. I had to look it up further through Urban Dictionary (not the best source, but it helped, I guess), and the main thing about an SJW is that these people tend to look for socially conflicting topics to make them feel good about themselves. I can assure you, the two reasons I'm participating in this thread now is because of the recent news in Australia, and people keep talking to me. I have enough stress in my life than to look for things to argue about. Artist

Nick, are you saying that being an egalitarian isn't a good thing? I'm wondering what sort of definition you have for the word 'egalitarian' that you think it isn't. Not least because you claimed to be leftish once when we were PMing. When is equality not desirable?

Mate, I came up with better talking points with said beverages than what most people do sober.

But really, you saying "This is something straight people need to understand" implies heterophobia, because I guaran-fuckin-tee you if someone replaced "straight" with "Black" or "Hispanic" that you'd decry it as racist. The whole "Dear White People" faux pas by MTV comes to mind here...

Trust me, SJW doesn't exactly have a positive connotation, and you think you're the only person who has shit going on in their lives? Get over yourself, seriously.

I would like to think there is a very clear difference between "wanting equality" and "wanting preferential treatment".
