Generally I would not propose to make something f2p solely for the sake of it being f2p, my experimental content proposals are more among the obvious choices of the first things new members would see - and that metric tons of new mechanics they would flooded with at once. It more would also be a chance to slightly rework those places to breathe new life into them at the same time. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

That would be potentially exploitable, since members have several sources to obtain infinite rope. Any particular reason for why you'd need this?
I will answer the question. I agree there is no reason for this. Nothing requires that much rope which you need to have it stacked.

F2P is a demo for the main game and a generous one at that. Bonds are available and rather easy to get. I would find it insulting for Jagex to add any f2p content that isn't a bug fix or allow any members content to become f2p. Why should i pay for content then have it given away to someone else?

It is explicitly not.
f2p is (supposed to be) a real and full game, with p2p offering benefits (the "freemium" model).
Indeed, they do not 'deserve' lots of new content, seeing how the ad revenues don't pay for developers, but they can get a little something here and there.

Couldn't say it better.

I'm not sure it has ever been suggested before, but as someone who missed out on all 3 World Events (and thus the chance to obtain Warpriest armour), I would like to make the suggestion of Gravite Armour.

You could go multiple ways with this imo:
- A Hybrid type set scaled to T55 (so T40 tank armour rating) which can be used like Warpriest/Dragonstone armour
- A All type set like Void with a corresponding Helmet for each fighting style, providing some type of damage % booster and Prayer (optional)
- 3 Power Armour sets (so T50 tank armour rating + Strength bonus) for each fighting style, to give F2P the option of full sets of Power Armour instead of loose pieces (such as Gud Raider chain for Melee, Battle Mage robes for Magic, Turoth boots for Ranged)
- 3 Tank Armour sets (scaled to T55) for each corresponding fighting style, complete with Shields and potentially a Gravite defender (Rune defender has to be sacrificed + tokens each time you buy one)

Obviously all of these armour sets would degrade, just like the weapons, and can be repaired with either coins or a combination of coins + tokens.

Hey and thanks for your input.

Generally I think it would be cleaner allowing players to re-gain warpriest sets on free worlds instead of introducing more items causing redundancies over the currently existing options. Also it's generally better to fix existing items - new stuff should really only be done if it isn't feasible to adjust existing things. Runescape always had had a lot of broken stuff, that could be made interesting after all - even when it's just for some kind of niche.

Goblin raids for instance could easily be adjusted to have generals dropping base items for each style (axe/wand/crossbow + fitting shield/body) and a general purpose upgrade token to bring up those items to t55. The weapon basically would be a permanent variation of gravite items, while shield/body would fill in new niches. While that still wouldn't be a full set, it would bring free players on even grounds for t55 - leaving t60 to be filled with ultra short-termed degrade to dust items - it isn't important, that equality exists at absolute each tier - equipment in general should be available, but endgame should be balanced.

Yeah - admittingly: I never liked the ranged slayer boots in their original incarnations. Initially they just were tank armour, introduced in lieu of dragonhide boots and made available to free players via trading, since they hadn't had the ability to make either anyway at that time. When they finally released dragonhide boots they were made them to power armour - while keeping them tradeable for p2p to f2p. That's actually an issue, since they're basically unobtainable for f2p ironmen. The cleanest solution would be flagging them as p2p only again - but I also do not really think it's a good idea taking players something away they actually intended to get as a permanent upgrade. Maybe some new f2p content, which drops t55 non-degrading power boots for each style... issue is, that really is out of the scope of this thread then.
