I along with a few of my older friends would love to have another kind of cape to work for. Some of us just can't "BOSS" like the younger crowd due to arthritis (some have had surgeries etc) that take away our dexterity therefore our ability to be fast at switching fight/prayers. Without bosses we won't ever get comp or master quest cape. I am maxed now and only play to get 120;s capes. So any "new cape " we can try and strive for would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Thank you Beasty Grama ! I totally agree! I do think older players(ones that don't have the dexterity)/players with special needs (that won't let them move fast enough to boss) that are maxed should be able to work towards another cape to keep our interest in this game. I personally am maxed too and lost my quest cape because I don't have any interest in the elite dungeons (plus I am NOT a bosser due to surgeries that took away the dexterity in my hands) and will probably never get quest cape back because of it ,now have nothing really to look forward to on here any more. New cape ideas sound like just what we need (of course don't mess with whats already here as people work to hard to get what they have)
I read the final chapter........... GOD WINS ! ;)

I suppose also to read all unobtainable books that can't be moved, such as:

- Read the soul vampyre research on Goshima.
- Read The Queen and the King in Yeti Town (even though it's a massive lorefail).
- Read the Declaration of Viggora.
- Read Brian Twitcher's book on the Phoenix. (would replace completing the Phoenix Lair once; there's also the more difficult achievement of getting the pet, which unlocks some story, see above)

Oh, and

- Read every book in the Grand Library of Menaphos.
- Purchase and read the arena book from the Mage Training Arena. (has a history section)
- Read the diaries of Archibald Paldock, Sandy, and Roddeck, as well as the latter's manual on dragon raising.
- Read the Virtus book.
- Read the books from Lletya.
- Read the dusty scroll from Burgh de Rott.
- Read Lord Rologarth's letter to his brother. (this item is currently forever lost if dropped)
- Unlock all fairy rings.

Oh and

- Watch the Three TokKul Opera. (can be tracked through the music track)
Bizarre Boron Fusswell, scryer extraordinaire. OSRS: POH ideas & RS3 minigames & achievement ideas !

Perhaps you're half right; perhaps we can't win. But we can fight.

I'm sort of in the same boat as you two - maxed (bar 120 dungeoneering, slayer and invention) and a TBI which I went into detail in another comp rework thread.

This almost brings to the surface the issue with how comp is looked at with the "either it's everything or nothing" mentality that Jagex seems to have in regards to it. There are no reasonable alternatives to comp for players that may struggle with comp (which will increase over time) due to reaper or whatever other reqs.

How exactly does this tiered system work? Can the player specifically focus on T1 skilling and jump to T2 skilling after completing all T1 skilling reqs. then after completing all T2 skilling reqs. jump to T3 skilling? Does the system only reward the player when they've done all T1 of each respective tier?

Another scenario could be does it allow a player to essentially ignore the combat tiers, if they want to, but still reward them for completing the other three? One problem that Jagex clearly doesn't work at avoiding is how PVM reqs. is in everything even when the "tier" isn't specifically aimed at/focused on combat yet still involves combat. All combat reqs. under the combat tiers?
