No. Arposandra is under the Galarpos Mountains and east of the Poison Waste swamp. We have gone through the journey in the gnome Prisoner.

Again, even if you think the lore was wrong, it still won't make any point to add Arposanda when we can just add new features to existing maps. If Jagex wanted to make more gnome gilders, let them be gnome gliders all over mainland Gielinor. If Jagex wanted an elite Poison Waste Dungeon, let it be an expansion from the current dungeon.

Adding new map without anything new that can't be added to existing maps won't make existing maps more relevant. It just make more dead content.

I believe we ought to see at least SOME of Arposandra in the near future.

Furthermore, mind blowing content is steeping underneath the poison waste where we all know Arposandra is shrouded by the boudler above Lletya in the galapagos mountains which is literally overlooking the poison waste. Arposandra and the poison waste are rich in lore and highly rewarding expansions

personally i'm impressed by the red axe coal tar rocket fueld with poison waste coal tar idea as the next elite dungeon to Zanaris (gilenor's moon). I mean 3,2,1...BLAST OFF!

Updated the "Help" section.

Nothing concrete has been revealed regarding the new quest. However, Mod Warden has dropped a few hints in his last 2 livestream appeareances:

- Smaller than Desperate Measuers but larger than many key quests. So I guess it is probably the size of DesperateTimes and such which takes 2 hours to complete probably.

- It is a SIGNIFICANT quest, which probably rules out a bottle quest like the Macab Goebie, Violet is Blue or the Slime quests.

- Everything they worked on now are tied together with lore... meaning the quest is tied to the Telos difficulty new boss, Orthen Digsite, GWD3 and even this month's featured Mystery 12 Year Anivesary update which is said to require Desperate Measures.

- They are working on further Dragonkin lore, despite Kerapac is now enslaved by Jas.

Connecting all the dots, my guess is it is the prelude to our final confrontation with the Elder Gods and the grand opening of GWD3.

Great miniquest added today with the release of Effigy Incubator!

In the coming months, we are going to gather knowledge left by Kerapac (and therefore more untold Dragonkin stories will be revealed) in his original experiment to help Kerapac's son to save the Ilujanka before his twisted father strayed away to his failed experiment in destroying Gielinor and the Elder Gods with Shadow Anima. This is going to be very interesting! :)

You know what? Although inorganic in nature, Effigies can grow and multiply so they apparently have lives. Remember the message "now we have gained xp, but at what cost?" when we rubbed an Ancient Effigy? Now that we know the "cost" is KNOWLEDGE. :)

Q: Does Rite of Passage actually have a chance of being made, or do we just let the dream die?

A: If there's a story around it we will likely share it in various ways such as with Stormguard. However if you are looking for a grandmaster quest, it probably won't happen or not any time soon. It feels to stand alone with the story we are currently telling."

It seems like there won't be a Rite of Passage quest in the making directly. However, there may be some quest about Stormguard with a side story of Rite of Passage.

Also, the color of the Orthen DIgsite soil is said to be BLACK. It seems like Orthen is related to Xau-Tak perhaps.

Or the cost of such Knowledge is the death of the Effigy.

What is interesting ( and I did not realize it) was that each effigy was holding the stone of Jas. Since the stone of Jas is now destroyed.. won't that mean that the original " cost" is payed and they are once again free? No longer bound to the stone.

Or are they once again slaves to the guardians who create them?

(( Sorry its an late reply))
