I think I'm going to hold off on including anything from the survey on this thread for now. If I were to add every quest and piece of lore content referenced, it would max out all my posts. Plus, Jagex makes it very clear with these yearly surveys that most of what's on there are simply ideas , nothing more. They're ideas that Jagex staff have tossed around and want to see how players feel about them, they're not to be taken as officially announced upcoming updates.

The whole point of the survey, in fact, is to chuck a ton of shit at the wall and see what sticks. It's to figure out the upcoming updates, which'll then be announced at RuneFest with the survey's results.

So, I'm going to wait until then to add anything to the thread. Please feel free to discuss the survey and its contents, but ultimately this is for content that's "in the making," which I'm not sure anything new in the survey qualifies as. That's my logic for not adding the information anywhere.

In today's developer blog, they said they are going to up the number of quests per year but will " focus more on iconic characters".

That probably means there won't be many quests involving Evil Dave, monkeys, Gothphrie etc in their agenda.

:-/ That's unfortunate. I'd hope that one of the ways that the number of quests per year would be upped would be with the release of more bottle, self-contained, small(er) quests with little-to-no world-ending implications, that are just character studies of this random dude over here or that random chick over there.

Ah well. A guy can dream...

Not much info on this quest as of yet. Except that I believe it will be explored more as part of the new skill coming out. ( I'm just guessing here)

Ah, just wanted to say: this is a quality thread. It's surely helpful to keep people in the loop as to what's going on with quests.

Latest stream (the one 10 mins ago) revealed that one of the game jam projects is a Halloween quest involving Araxxor, Vampyrium and the Vampires.

Naturally it might not even come out, but they did mention it on stream. My neighbors a jerk
