I am going to start with saying, that I am going to try and give this a fair shot... but so far with interacting with the Hero Pass, I'm not liking it that much.
I liked having the option to turn off skills that were 99 for the daily challenges, the Hero Pass does not offer this, so for both yesterday and today, I've had to do skills that I have no interest in doing at the moment (all my skills are 99+, so by being able to turn some off in favour of others was good for me as some are just of no interest any more).
Having to do the daily task for so long is a bore, the great thing about dailies were that they were short and sweet, this new system has you doing one skill for much longer to get it to completion, and one action does not mean one point is knocked off (at least not that I could tell doing smithing and construction).
The quest it's asking people to complete, for me it's dead and buried, I'm part way through it (I was before the update), but my partner is also being requested to do the same quest... he's not even bothered with the Fort at all, so he'd have to do all the previous quests too. Why isn't it tailored to each person and where they're at quest wise?
Collecting rewards is a clumsy set up, I ended up collecting number 20 before realising I have some before it to collect (yes, I'm aware of the claim all button, but I wanted to read what I was getting individually), why not make it so you can't collect later rewards until previous ones are collected?
Why so many cosmetics? Not everyone is heavily involved with fashion scape, and even those that are, have more than enough to choose from already without adding hundreds of more pieces, same goes for pets, I have so many damned pets, I couldn't rotate them all in a day!
Again, I'll try to give it a fair go, a month most likely - to see if I like it enough to interact with it, but so far, I'm not seeing anything that'll make me want to stick with it.
