Ahhh, Stoaty. Very nearly the apogee of my ideal poster
I wonder if he uses Reddit. I'd love to run into him.
Well, not run into him as in run into him whilst driving a car, or a golf cart. Or even a small motorised mower, really.
More in the sense of a snowman wearing a strangely cut-out gas mask and fluffy bunny slippers and eating a swarm of bees and oh god the moon is so bright tonight my eyes! my eyes! it always goes like this during a full tide and it's Friday ... Friday the 13th ... wibble ....
Have any of you read any of the sci-fi books by Ian M Banks?
Noo. Been reading Stephen Hawking's Briefer History of Time.
Especially since it details the curvature of motion,
relating to Spitballs.
And of course, most importantly, ships without rudders.

@Corugi...re your post on Pasmo Thread, "lowest common denominator"...
The television industry here, has ever abided by those rules...with some exceptions ofc.
*Wcb, Scouse.
Oh Mary, that is a good book. Stephen Hawking is very cute and funny. Life sure griefed him, didn't it? But then again, he griefed it right back and then some.
I've read "Consider Phlebas", which I found very hard to get into, and "Feersum Endjinn", which is ... very odd, and was fun except that I thought a certain character should have been squished instead of forgiven, and a collection of short stories, whose name I forget.
Seeing Arch has been reapplying himself to the works of *my* favourite author, Lois McMaster Bujold, lately, I probably should give Banks another chance to grab me.

Yes Molly...big fan of anything Hawking. And he's been spouting warnings re AI, too.
Understandably.
Say, since Hawking is of Cambridge....perhaps he got all the IQ-trons, hmm?
Leaving a lack thereof, in those Jagexy Monsters?! Will ponder this further.
Well that was a slightly alarming moment: "Hello FiFi, sorry you died ....."
(Doubtless there are those that would wish it so) ... however.... the alarm stemmed from the fact that for a nanosecond I imagined that the Immortal Deity was now into communication by technology instead of personally welcoming me with open arms onto my forever-cloud of divine happiness.
Yes, Scouse has locked Thread Rants bout this...
So does another...
Someone said when he died, lost rune equipment/kept mithril...wouldn't play again.
2. W&F..Highscores down for several days...
3. FMR...peeps not able to make sense out of what is reviewed.
