Hmm...guess not.

Been reading a bit bout the 2 Neutron stars that collided on the 17th.
Well, 130million years ago. Dinosaurs on this planet when they collided. They say.
Took that long for the light to get here. And gravitational waves.
Astronomers all over the globe, alerted each other. Day before yesterday.

Said to now have changed astronomy. Einstein proven right. Again.
Photons travel at the same rate as gravity.
They now can rely on gravitational waves + gamma rays for measurement.

Haven't seen Jack lately.

Neutron stars you say? Colliding? Awesome. Gravity waves detected? Well I never, at last something significant has happened in my lifetime. Fascinating. I remember talk about this when I was a kid. The years have passed without any such detection until now.

I will have to look this up. There may be potential to develop GRAVITATIONAL WAVE PARTICLE DESTRUCTOR WEAPONS.

Correct. It will do no good at all. The asshattery will continue and this time next year (if anyone bothers to stick around) we will be treated to a rehash of the current 'Vision Statement', only with a few new signatures at the bottom.

I doubt our amusing compadre will be here long, he has a low threshold for boredom and the forums now offer nothing at all worth staying for. On any level.

It was the stench of butthurt that brought me back.

Also to share a revelation:
Remember that little bald guy in The Benny Hill show that never spoke and was always getting slapped?
I am starting to suspect that is Lnk.
The reason he wasn't allowed to speak is obvious to all of us, I'm sure.
