Also I thought I posted on this thread, but apparently not. Or maybe I posted on another thread that was similar? I think that the confirmation pop-up for leaving a clan should look different and stand out more than the leave group or clan channel pop-up.

It can even be the same pop-up that you use for destroying sinkhole cards or Diango clothing pieces, where you can't spam destroy by pressing the "1. Yes" button, but instead move the damn cursor to select "yes" -________- Btw please make it easier to destroy Diango-retrievable clothes...if you accidentally destroy those then all you have to do is aog tele to Draynor Village or clan vex tele to Prif...

It is quite careless but there's also two buttons to leave your clan, one temp and one perm, which somehow causes confusion. This has happened two or three times in my clan since I created Renown, just over two years ago. But yes maybe enforce a pin onto the leave clan button even if you've typed your pin in during that session, redesign the icon, make the warning message bigger/more in your face or move the leave clan button.

I have a clan member who is visually impaired and they went to invite somebody to the clan, haven't done that for over a year and forgot how to, they started clicking all the buttons and the bottom and I seen they left the clan chat (temp) and rejoined it, left and rejoined again and at that point I had to quickly come to the rescue before they left the clan. Obviously this is a different scenario due to them being visually impaired but it's just not obvious for some.

Perhaps we won't see it any time soon but maybe see it with the Clan rework if it's voted up for 2017. •

The mistakes are all very understandable, I almost left my own clan a couple of times and had some clannies in fact accidently leaving clan when they wanted to close the chat temp.

Pin sounds good, so we dont have angry brothers throwing our admins out of the clan...

Another option could be a cooldown timer on leaving your clan. Something like 3 minutes.... Not too inconvenient since we dont leave clans on a daily base... For players that were 2 minutes looking for how to leave their clan, they have the chance to say they found it in cc and say goodbye. Might also prevent some impulsive rage-quits.

Personally if someone leaves a clan it is because they didn't pay attention to what they were clicking, or read the warning prompt before they clicked on it. It would be their own fault, unfortunate for the clan who the member belongs to.

It definitely is an issue of carelessness/rush and being absent-minded as I've stated, but the main problem is that it's caused by or overshadowed by the fact that a poor and faulty design exists which causes confusion and creates room for such error

When you're used to leaving your group a lot (which has the exact same icon), you will never pause to read the confirmation, which means you're always only one button/slip-up from leaving your clan.
