The first 3 are good imo. I'd replace bm with 5-man rago though because rago has more interesting mechanics and we already have yaka to represent raids. Rago would have to be the last one though as we'd have to start and end the week on wednesday to prevent a change in rotation half-way through the competition.
Idea on cup in general then: maybe we should start the cups on Wednesday because that is weekly resets anddddd we won't have to worry about bank holidays.
5man Rago isn't really much of a challenge on most weeks though. Trio/4man is however. But then again, I don't know if we want to go for actual challenges or just easy kills.

Sani btw
Don't think it matters about the challenge so much cuz we want even the casual pvmer to be able to compete... Although the door is open to change, I think fastest kill time is looking to be the way to go.

Unfortunately I think players will have to monitor the time they play themselves - I highly doubt Jagex will make changes to ironman accounts just for us. What we could do is increase the grace time to 30mins or 1 hour so there's less chance of players being dqed for monitoring themselves badly. However, we'd probably have to tweak the formula for removing the xp gained in the extra time to account for exponential increases in xp gain.
I think lobby time is counted in the time played for an account that Jagex checks as well =/ Good point. We'll have to warn players about that too.
Edits:
- Added a warning about the lobby
- Increased grace time to 30mins
Thank you for your respond.
Will the Organisors for the event be chosen later? Cause guess I'm ok with it too lead the Iron Skilling cup team.

I'm hoping Matthe can make a clan cup organiser application thread next week Ceecs. I guess it would be kept open for a week or two and chosen organisers would be announced after it closes.

PVM Cup design doc I drew up. Feel free to leave comments on the doc/here. It's not 100% complete yet but this way you can get a general sense of where I would like it to go.

1 - No need for PvM registrations. Just the submission of 5 results up to 5 days after the week's competition ends.
2 - One competition each week, not two. I suspect a lot of clans will find it quite time consuming to finish good kills, correctly vid them and choose the top 5. Not to mention that having to check all the vids will take quite a long time for the organisers. Squishing in two competitions per week would double all that effort and make things pretty stressful imo.
3 - 6 weeks may be a bit long. Again, keeping up that clan and organisation effort for 6 weeks straight is very tiring. Imo it should be 4 or 5 weeks max.
The last two points do reduce the variety of competitions, but I think they are necessary for the Cup to run well.
Also, is there any way to check araxxor enrage level on the interface? Wouldn't speed kills encourage people to use up a bunch of pheromones?

Looks nice hop. Can someone make a spreadsheet for the Iron cup?
Features I like to see:
- First page for ranking/clan
- 2nd page perhaps the individually scores player of that clan
- That I can copy a list of names into it and it will check those players xp in those skills on page 3 or so to check the things easier.
- I guess if someone exceed the 6 hours I just manually delete him from the list, or calculate his total if only few minutes.
(Regarding if some goes over the 6 hours by like 5 minutes, should i recalculate it or give an xp penalty like -5% or so?)

OK that's fine, but how would you go about dealing with clan hoppers and the like?

I don't mind doing this but it'd be very bare bones if that was the case. There are some weeks that will be more intense than others for both the organizers and the reps, but it's balanced out by competitions that only require 1/2 submissions later on (IDK if this was made clear in the doc).

I only put 6 as I thought the rest would run about that long. I think the Skilling Cup historically only lasted 6 weeks, so I just chose that. Less weeks would be fine but I'd switch some of the challenges around and remove those that are fluff, for lack of a better word (Kiln/Caves week specifically).

They do but it's again one of the challenges that we have to deal with. Finding the right amount of variety while making the Cup run effectively is the tight-rope that must be walked.
