I'm kind of fed up of this attitude you've been putting a downer on every thread about possible updates or improvements or any constructive thread telling people to just give up.

Your views do not represent anyone's but your own. There are a bunch of unhappy clan leaders in this forum, but they do not claim their views are anyone else's.

Clans will always be, through many shapes and forms. They do not need Jagex to create content for them. Clans appear through demand, from PVM, to skilling and creating targets between people, to advice about the game in general.

This forum allows for Clan leaders to interact and discuss ideas and tips of how to run clans. If Jagex closed it, I don't think it would be long before a similar thing appeared. At least Alliances would form which would be more strong between leadership.

Jagex don't need to use too much effort (Two lovely people who moderate us and choose to have discussions with us) to have this forum which allows us to have a wider reach to clans. While at the same time Jagex can look at the discussions upon some experienced players who also have a large communities at their fingertips which can give Jagex a good idea of general player gameplay.
As much as I welcome and would like a bunch of the Clan updates many of us have suggested over the years. I do not feel that is one of the main reasons for this forum to be here.

You kidding me? That's the ONE thing you can literally not bitch about. We get more contact with Jmods then probably any other group. Fmods don't get nearly this level of interaction, OSRS doesn't get this level of interaction. Can't speak for HLF but I'm betting they don't (esp since lee seems clueless a fair amount of the time), and RS3 rarely equals ours.

CLF gets CONSISTENT contact with Jagex and its (almost) always honest. "When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself... first, as a dark demon. Using observation and reading things posted on here IE 2016 and Clans. It is obvious how we are upset about the constant neglect. This also has nothing to do with Matthe or Maz.

HLF gets less JMod contact than RGU does.

Edit: Just to give you a better idea of how great the CLF is by comparison, I went through all of the posts by Mod Lee (the HLF curator) since early September - there are under 5 which aren't pretty much verbatim copies of "locked this thread cuz it was spam".

In his defence, they were all spam, but my point is more that Norne's right - we get far more interaction with Jagex here than in any other forum group.

That is also not what I am complaining about. Oh Norne...you have a talent for taking things out of context. The quote was to show that this forum is not only for clan leaders to discuss ideas on how to run clans. That it is a direct link between jmods and clan leaders.

And all those aspects of the game are enhanced greatly with group play aka clans, what most people want in a MMO is for their multiplayer experiences to be enhanced and clans is one of the primary ways to achieve that.

And when i talk about clans i dont just mean the actual clan system itself but any form of community, wether it also be fc's and site features also.
