The Discord server is open to all Clan leaders, and as an active Clan leader you've every right to join Discord and access the information for yourself - it's called being proactive , rather than expecting to have everything spoon-fed to you.

It's commonplace for companies to post teaser and discussion material on various popular platforms, Jagex also use Reddit and Twitter. If you choose not to use these platforms then that's on you , not Jagex.

Whilst this is true in theory this is not how it works in practice.


Think about it. If the Discord mods went on a tyrannical rampage do you think the Jagex Staff would continue to use the server? No - they'd leave and then we wouldn't have a clan discord server, which is exactly why the Discord mods are indirectly prevented from going on tyrannical rampages.


I rarely use the CLF Discord because I've minimal interest outside of discussing a few bits of content, but I'm yet to see any major problems with it outside of petty squabbling.

I was addressing your point, not you personally.

If you are blocked from accessing the server then I can only presume this is due to disruption in the past (which is nothing to do with me so please let's not go into it on the forums.)

I'd suggest if you want to resolve this then you do so by politely speaking to Shauny, and perhaps showing a more positive and open mindset towards the third party integration of the games community.

Rob doesn't know how to be polite. While Shauny hasn't outright said so, he's hinted that it's an internal matter between Rob and the server admins and doesn't wish for himself or anyone at Jagex to be involved. (Mod Poerkie has hinted at this too)

Imo the server is going from strength to strength, and letting Rob back in has a high (almost certain) chance of ruining the progress that has been made since his removal. Owner of

Well thats your opinion j4ron, doesn't make it true or factual. You guys clearly don't see the point though that one player banning another player is clearly an internal issue but if any of the results on shauny's ideas make it into the game it is ethically wrong what he is doing its like the UK having a general election and only allowing certain citizens to vote. If something is gong to make it into the game one vote will not affect it. So the results are pretty accurate.

Ironically, in the UK the following are not allowed to vote:

- members of the House of Lords

-EU citizens (other than UK, Republic of Ireland, Cyprus and Malta) resident in the UK

-anyone other than British, Irish and qualifying Commonwealth citizens

-convicted persons detained in pursuance of their sentences, excluding contempt of court (though remand prisoners, unconvicted prisoners and civil prisoners can vote if they are on the electoral register)

-anyone found guilty within the previous five years of corrupt or illegal practices in connection with an election



So there goes that argument. Unless of course the whole of the UK is deluded, along with many other countries in the world.

In a real, serious situation, you'd fall under the last one, electoral fraud. Owner of
