Let's be honest, you're not upset that Jagex don't have control of it, you're just upset that YOU don't have control of it. The way your own Discord thread is set up shows that you want to be in control. But this is no suprise; your whole history on RuneScape has been one of trying to insinuate yourself into positions of influence, first in various clans years ago, and then once that failed and you established a clan of your own, here in the CLF.

Do you really think that other clan leaders, and Jagex Staff, are not fully aware of this?

Arch you know we have never seen eye to eye but I don't want CLD shut down but in terms of official feedback it should not be player managed, if you cannot see that then you must be delusional. I disagree, I don't want to make anything official by taking over the Discord.

If I do that, then immediately the perception of it changes, this entire discussion is baffling me especially with how far it's got to.

In the time since seeing complaints to me about me using CLD too much I've been using the Forums to inform you all of the major updates (streams, ava rework updates, etc). CLD I use for casual and instant messaging as it's more ideal for me, but that's just my two cents. Mod Shauny - RuneScape Community Management - Goebies! - @JagexShauny

But Shauny you have been neglecting the flag a concern and the moderation escalation threads. Some people have taken this conversation to personal levels. My arguments are that if the discord is to remain on CLF and you are to unofficially communicate through it and not other discords for clan leaders then clan leaders in clf should not be able to determine who has access to it. For example despite it being common lnowledge I am in clf I was removed from the discord and cut off communication from you because I didnt post in the thread for it. Clan leaders should not have that power over other clan leaders. Its almost the same as clan leaders being able to determine who has access to clf. The discord is not inclusive at all and all you have to do is make one of the admins not like you to lose access.

Theoretically all you have to do is make one of the JMods not like you to lose access to the CLF, too.

The fact remains that the CLD is successfully allowing Jagex Staff to sample opinion in real time, and giving players pretty much unprecedented access to the developers of clan-related updated.
