The worst way to get us to invest more time in clans is by creating a toxic culture of kicking players based on the way they want to play.
I agree with the sentiment made by Mod Balance.
It is disrespectful to kick clanmates for using game content which is considered a legitimate part of the game - it is not cheating, or dishonest play.
This will reflect poorly both on yourself, and your clan. Furthermore, whilst you personally disagree with the MTX addition, that is not to say that all of your clan members will; many of them may both enjoy, and support, the content.
Majority of clans will exclude a certain play style of a player because it doesnt fit into their clan philosophy, while i dont agree with andras stance it is his choice i dont see how this any different from anyone else's clan policies of who they will and wont allow into their clans and i dont see why clan leaders choice of who they want in their clans should have any bearing on motivation to help clans.

Making assumptions here but, if this item is going to be added to Solomon's it annoys me that the citadel code is too complex to work on, but no, when it comes to money making (e.g. Runecoins) it's no longer a barrier to do things.
If it's not a Solomon's Item, or a TH item, then cool let's hope it's not too easy to get, but not too hard either.
Welcome to the new norm, lol.
Live example: Candy Corn goes straight to your inventory. If your inventory is full? Right into the bank. The Orts on the other hand are so cryptically complex and hard to change! so it remain with a pathetic code for years. Seriously?
We have a task currently being/about to be worked on around Orts to improve how this works for them. I believe they will be a currency/in your money pouch instead. No more collecting them from the floor or working about your inv.
So why are you not letting clan leaders know about this? this stuff should be added to the clan plan

I am having my clan boycott these, anyone who uses them will be kicked and have to find a different clan.
Freaking ridiculous.
Makes the capping avatar buff obsolete too
I mean, that seems a bit harsh. I don't know the entirely what they do, but I'm sure you still get the amount "total cap". So what's the use with banning them?
Extreme change must be made using extreme measures. These are a horrible update and a cancer to clans. We accept them, and allow them--leads to allowance of MTX in clans in the future. We cannot become okay with this.

Time isn't really invested in to clans currently other than this which does count as a profit via the MTX system and the clan cup which a lot of clans have missed opinions on, We even got promised a change to the icons and a new concept design by Mod Hang10 in around April time and nothing has happened with them yet.

Bought one with loyalty points to try it out. I think it would have been a better move to horde those loyalty points some more.
Can confirm, not worth the price.

Because it is being worked on by the Ninja team amongst a set of small fixes - I was not intending to flag its arrival until we were confident of delivery, as with many Ninja type fixes it can end up being a larger project than was planned. It only became relevant to mention in respect of the Candy Corn comments, to show that we are not ignoring these tidy up type projects.

Anyone who kicks their members because they wish to play content, or wish to play the different than their so called leaders, shouldn't be a Clan Leader in the first place. It's extremely selfish to force your opinion upon others. If you don't like it, fair enough but let others have their own opinions and let them play the game how they want.

Who are you to say who should and should not be a clan leader?
