No, no. You're welcome to disagree with the update, and your free to run your clan however you want. However, creating the kind of clan community which kicks others just because they want to play in a certain way (spend less time grinding in the citadel, by buying the booster) isn't healthy for our clan community and doesn't really motivate us to develop for clans.
So out of all the things posted on this thread you pick that 1 thing that 1 clan leader says? At this point I'm thinking y'all are looking for any excuse not to develop anything for clans.

My clan members find this to be a joke. They thought I was kidding when I told them about the update. They hate it, we on here hate it, we as a clan are boycotting them. What future updates are you talking about Balance? The cosmetic cloaks, the mute...oh sorry

I think you guys & girls misunderstood Mod Balance. He's speaking here as a human being simply stating that most humans, if not all, won't feel very motivated to work for a group if they only get negative feedback and rants. Even if you don't agree with him, atleast show some appreciation as he did take the time to post here. I'm personally glad I'm not standing in the shoes of Matthe & Maz, as they have to swallow most of the toxic shit that's being posted on the CLF. Instead of having a nice day at the office with a smile on their face they have to read through all the negative comments even if they had no control over the updates. And yet they still do, every day, and they still try to make the best of things for us. I know most of you are very frustrated by recent and past updates or the lack thereof, but as a Clan Leader you sometimes have to let your frustration go, as it can also stand in the way. In this case, we're not getting anywhere. Matthe and Maz are well aware most clans are not happy with this update. Point made, let's move on. If you still feel frustrated, buy a punching bag and punch it until you're calm. In the end we have to do it with these couple of JMods, and I'd rather have them look forward to reading the CLF, than having to read threads full of rants and accusations. It's not good for them, it's not good for us.

You still don't understand* the point of Hawk's post.

Altough I understand what Fire Hawk says and agree with most of the things he said, it's safe to say that the time has come to a point where Community management has to step up in order to prevent such things to happen - and the only way to do that is to don't make updates like this, like Andras said.

There's no point in CLF forums if things we'd like to get implemented will be neglected due technical / other reasons and then shovelling a "pay-to-win" / altered idea in your face makes some clan leaders frustrated - and they have the reason to be. :\

You and many others have already made your points, and I agree with most of them. However, continuing in this way will only distort future communication. Matthe and Maz have no control over MTX at all. It's a separate team and they're well known to release controversial updates. If you want to rant, go rant over there. I probably did rant alot there over the years as well, I strongly dislike all the microtransactions. But don't rant here, as this is one of the only places with JMods who actually try to help us. That doesn't mean they can always help us, but they try. And that's not something I'm willing to lose.

It's their jobs to read the forums? So to say "make them have a nice day" at the expense of our disagreement with an update is a moot point. Case and point: we need real updates, not micro-transaction. We still haven't seen the reverse of the last clan update, as no one wanted the 7 day cool down. We might as well not complain as we have no voice. At the least, we'll deal with this newest update. Bonds are going for somewhere around 12m? 100 coins for a booster comes to around.. 7.5m? I'd rather just let my clan members pay us > 7m not to cap.

I agree with the sentiment made by Mod Balance.

It is disrespectful to kick clanmates for using game content which is considered a legitimate part of the game - it is not cheating, or dishonest play.

This will reflect poorly both on yourself, and your clan. Furthermore, whilst you personally disagree with the MTX addition, that is not to say that all of your clan members will; many of them may both enjoy, and support, the content.
