But is it the entire clan that opposes the gameplay, the majority, or just you ?

Is it worth the catastrophic, political breakdown that could occur within your clan by challenging player's gameplay methods?

Remember, again, that this is not a form of cheating or dishonest practice; it is considered a legitimate tactic in the game.

He means that this MTX is just the first step in the "MTX team taking over the clannies". Following his logic the next step would be that they implement things like "double orts booster" and other pointless stuff that makes leaders less symbolic because - in the end - they make all of the (useless?) updates instead of us suggesting ideas that we work on to be even better so that they can be taken to the development team.

His problem is that instead of real updates, we get stuff that only a minority needs and obviously the others don't need/like.

But Mod Kalaya stated on reddit that the success of this would serve as an indicator as to how beneficial future clan updates would be.

So if this is Jagex's way of thinking then yes, no update would've been better than this one. :|

By the way am I the only one who thinks consumables aren't really "updates" or "contents" that we can play with? They just toss in an item with an extra effect.

I don't know how they can compare a buyable something with an actual update that everyone can play/test and everyone can raise their opinion about.

Mod Balance, thanks for your reply, but if our disagreement doesn't motivate Jagex to do better I don't know what will. We've tried being patient, gave lots of feedback and kept hoping for improvements to come.

Among us there have always been a few who have tried to calm the other clan leaders down. Explaining to those with less patience that: "We've got a bunch of Jagex Moderators on our side, who are only human but will do whatever they can to let us be heard".

Being heard isn't enough. We've heard you too when we were told about "spaghetti code", "make use of RuneLabs" and "vocal minority". Delaying our wishes by throwing up walls we need to pass isn't what we need from the Jagex Moderators who are on our side...

Maybe it's us. Perhaps you did write down our suggestions and polled them in a similar way as was done for the return of the wilderness and free trade back in 2010. Perhaps you did everything in your power and didn't put the blame on spaghetti code, a vocal minority and the lack of support through RuneLabs for our ideas.

I dare you to put a poll up on a third-party website with the simple question "Do you want Jagex to spend time on improving the clan system if this were to reduce the amount of other content updates?". Give us a reasonable chance to be more than a vocal minority. Part of the
