When I read this all I get is "reach cap faster with double xp" which to me sounds like a rather lame item but also one I wouldn't mind being on SGS due to its lameness. Good for those who value citadels and efficiency maybe, otherwise hardly useful.

If it actually doubles the resources you can nab...meh still not a big concern where it comes from for me. They could put it elsewhere, but that can be said for virtually ANY item they toss into the MTX pattern.

Item description: Doubles the amount of XP and resources you gain while training in a Clan Citadel. Lasts until the next build tick.

There is nothing about increasing speed.

The keyword for me is gain. Not doubles amount of resources obtainable but gained. That suggests it just doubles what you get per action for me.
"When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself... first, as a dark demon. As a demon, it uses its power to rain death upon the land, and then it dies. However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns, this time, as a great hero"

Solomon's General Store | Clan Citadel Boosters

Solomon's now stocking clan citadel boosters – handy consumables which double the user's XP and resource gain on Clan Citadel plots until the next build tick.

They're a great way to help out your clan if you're short on time, as it's twice as quick to reach your cap. They're tradeable, too, so you can give them to your clanmates if you wish.

Please note that boosters do not increase your XP/resource cap – only the rate at which the cap can be reached.

Head to Solomon's Store to pick up clan citadel boosters today. These cheap and cheery consumables are a great way to use up any spare Loyalty Points or RuneCoins jangling around in your pocket. Why not give them a go?

Short on RuneCoins? You can redeem Bonds in-game, click ‘Earn' in Solomon's Store, or purchase RuneCoins on the website.

--------------------

So you're going to make us pay for something that we have asked for in the past quite a lot of times but always with a 'i'm sorry it's not technically feasible', but all of a sudden if you can make a bit of cash it is now possible?

Not very happy, mate... >.>

I didn't imagine that they would be so highly overpriced in the SGS on release...

• 100 RC for 1 (or 75,000 LP)
• 250 RC for 3
• 450 RC for 6

I don't think I am going to see these used often since no additional experience is gained.

If you buy the maximum one it's still over 3m/booster (via bonds), so they're not worth getting at all. Really dissapointed.

Can the money made from these boosters go towards clan updates then please? Really want to see some proper updates for clans soon :|

Not sure that's exactly how the budget at Jagex works...

But Mod Kalaya stated on reddit that the success of this would serve as an indicator as to how beneficial future clan updates would be.

So, stick a controversial clan update behind a paywall, after we've heard spaghetti code over and over, and use its success as an indicator of legitimately supported and wanted clan updates.

Doesn't seem like all that great of an idea...
