Since it looks tradable I doubt it's from Solomons. Don't really mind the actual item itself though, I might actually do a full cap instead of just doing fealty if they're cheap or easy to get.

Hard to say. Challenge gems are tradable and are from Solomon. The fact this was not mentioned anywhere in BTS, makes me believe it is either TH, Solomon, or a temp Community thing (most doubtful guess).

True I forgot about those. I think it'd be cool to have it as a reward for capping at 3 fealty so you could either use them week to week or sell them for profit. Would encourage more people to cap whether it's for increased xp or profit.

Maybe we'll be able to buy them with orts?

I doubt it will be with orts although that would be an interesting concept. If this was the case that would make orts a money maker meaning for the first time that joining a clan will be directly profitable.

When I read this all I get is "reach cap faster with double xp" which to me sounds like a rather lame item but also one I wouldn't mind being on SGS due to its lameness. Good for those who value citadels and efficiency maybe, otherwise hardly useful.

If it actually doubles the resources you can nab...meh still not a big concern where it comes from for me. They could put it elsewhere, but that can be said for virtually ANY item they toss into the MTX pattern.

Just placing my 2¢ here, but the item is from Solomon's. While it does not currently appear in the SGS API , it's not from Treasure Hunter due to none of the upcoming four promotions involving clans.

Since challenge gems were 500,000 on release and cost 10 Runecoins each, I would assume that these will cost no less than 5 Runecoins and no more than 25 each. Five should be easy enough to get each week with the various ways to freely obtain them.

If you're genuinely curious, you might want to ask the MTX Teams in-game when they display the promotions for this month on 5 November at 15:00 UTC on W23 at the Lumbridge Crater .

Item description: Doubles the amount of XP and resources you gain while training in a Clan Citadel. Lasts until the next build tick.

There is nothing about increasing speed.

If it doubles xp and doubles resources gained it's just halving the time needed to cap. Depends on if the extra resources are counted toward your weekly cap or not but I'd assume they are.
