That aside, as a small clan leader, I have always welcomed the changes. Sure, it makes recruiting harder, but it will definitely make Citadel management easier when it gets up and running. My clan is more of a family anyway, naturally, if anyone decides to leave, you have to question their loyalty.

As other have mentioned, the main benefit of this is that it cuts down "clan hoppers" - however, it can be detrimental to clans that may have a high turn over of members. I'll definitely be following this thread more from now on.

Just gonna pop on here to say that I don't think my clan has recruited any new members since the cooldown update went live.

Normally we have a few new clanmembers per week, even if they only stay for a little while and cycle through. Some ended up sticking, some didn't.

In other words, exactly what I feared was going to happen has happened.
What the world needs is more geniuses with humility; there are so few of us left.
