A previously inactve sergeant in a dead expansion of my clan logged in and needed transfer. So i hopped on my alt account in the expansion, kicked him, then got back on my main and recruited him right away
Ohh, very clever!

Keep it a secret. Although others will spread it, it's not our job to help spread glitches. They shouldn't be taken advantage of, no matter how minor they are.
And yes, even though I hate the current 7 day wait, I am saying let them have the 7 days because glitches aren't intended and shouldn't be abused.
Keep it a secret, the person I talked about in my post has spread it to a few of our clan mates and since then, another person has asked for a kick.
Good calls and yea true, thanks! Goodluck to the person working on this!
I agree that it's probably a glitch. After reading my post over I realized that it pretty much broke every rule the new probation has put in place lol.
Hopefully it gets fixed soon, we told the newest person that asked for a kick that it is possible bug abuse and the person eventually left of their own accord. Hopefully this secret dies with those two. And I'd also encourage not spreading this secret to anyone without CLF access. The whole situation was very troublesome and I'd rather not have other people go through the same thing
(I understand that this won't make it possible for people to clan hop, but it will make them feel more like part of the clans that they are prospecting and make it easier to join when they are able to, it would be much like probation was. It also solves the guesting security problem)

A white list doesn't solve the issues caused by this system. It's a feature that's been requested for ages for clans that which to choose which guests they allow in their clan chat.
It's not very relevant to the biggest issues this update caused, such as inhibiting freedom of movement between clans.
Agreed PantsuOnHead. And I still haven't gotten a clear idea why denial of avatar buff is a parameter of suggestions. Is it really the goal to punish people for choosing to leave a clan?
The most beautiful things in life cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart.
For the record, I tested this issue when the update was released. (joining after being kicked) At the time if I kicked you it would put you on the 7 day cool down. Maybe we should consider this as a actual feature? If your kicked and your able to join another clan ... could be a good thing but it would not fix the actual issue that we are having would it?
I like the idea of a probation rank, which limits your ability to cap, receive benefits, etc. The question I have is if it is possible to have it include the limit on clan based competitions. From what I am reading on here, I am thinking the answer is no? Sorry, but some of the jargon confused me just to be honest.
In regards to competitions, its human nature to cheat and I am not sure we can always prevent it but it would be nice for a limitation to be set to minimize it. I would be willing to support any thing that would remove the 7 day limit of joining a clan. So many suggestions here... hard to sort out what would be the best thing. If I can get some clarification if the limit of a probation rank would be feasible on clan based competitions it would help me come to a better decision in regards to what to support.
Thanks for reading and hopefully we can figure something out as a community.
I would be willing to bet if someone capped, then asked for a kick and you kicked them, then they asked to be re-invited, they would be able to cap again immediately.

A top 100, high-level clan!
Our clan has had several people who've made the decision to join us and have had to wait the seven days, or are still waiting the seven days to join our clan.
First issue
One issue we've had is, unless they keep a check themselves, it is not clear to the clanmate, or to us, how long the person has to wait until their seven day probation has expired. If an invite is offered it says how many days they have.
Solution
I'd like it if there was some way the person waiting, and the clan they're joining are able to see how many days are left before the seven days have expired without needing to offer an invite for it to show how many days left.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Second issue
Previously when a new clan member joined the clan there was a triangle that showed the clanmate was in their first seven days of the clan. Our clan used that indicator to let us know the person was a new member, and they remained a recruit so all the clan knew they were new to the clan and would make sure they felt welcome. Once the indicator was removed, the clanmate would then be promoted as a full member of our clan. That triangle indicator helped us to keep track of exactly a week after each clan member joined our clan, and ensured all our clanmates concentrated on helping that person feel as welcome and as comfortable with our clan as possible when new.
Now with the probation time before new members join our clan, that indicator has been removed, and it's more difficult to keep track of when the first seven days actually in the clan expires.
Solution
Would it be possible to return that triangle that appeared beside clan members names during their first seven days actually in the clan. I'm sure our clan isn't the only clan that would greatly appreciate that.
With Thanks
Cheers
Cherish
