If we are tracking inactivity of clan owners hopefully this system can trickle down to tracking ALL players for inactivity. We all have our ways but the more automated things get the better.

Hi Rough Draft ,

It is unlikely that would be the case - an Inactive player system would be a whole different kettle of fish.

Such a system would be nice, however. :)

I still think, if an automated system won't exist, we should be allowed to see when a clan member last logged in. Pretty much every other game I've played that has any sort of clan/guild/group set-up allows you to see time since last log in. Would be a great tool for figuring out if somebody needs the boot or not.

Dear someone with the ability to do something about this problem,

We are a democratic clan that has existed for quite some time. Every 3 months there is a election where either the leader is reelected, or another takes his place(Maximum is 3 terms of 3 months each). Now, while this may not be a problem in the foreseeable future, I am worried that someday my clan might have this problem. In your opinion, what should they do? Can they complain to a mod? Or is this just something my clan will have to deal with once this comes up?

Thanks for your time.

Any word on when the Permission Rewrite will sneak its way into the game Mod Matthe? :P

Also as a side note to this, please be careful with the way it's done. As an example I was unable to actually log into the game for a lengthy period of time after moving into my own place. no broadband for near 6 months (the torture!)

I did keep in contact with the clan as much as i could, usually on a daily basis via skype and other social media outlets on my phone but as for physically logging in it was an impossibility. In game things like citadel plot checks and events etc were kept running by my fellow clan members in coordination with myself during this time.

It would be very unfair I think for an automated system to remove me if it was based on me not logging in for a specific amount of time when i am still very much a part of the clans community and i had designated temporary ownership to my deputies during my absence.

Ideally I would add this as an optional feature under a clan leaders permissions. A system like this could potentially be abused if not done properly.
