If T1 citadel avatar has the same bonus as T7 citadel avatar, won't this break clans into smaller clans? It takes longer to cap in T7 citadel than in T1 citadel, or am I wrong?
A T1 habitat is missing 2 other capping avatars.
But if everyone has it's own avatar, then it won't matter right?
As it currently stands a tier 1 citadels avatar and a tier 7 citadels avatars give the same bonuses the two main differences being that of cosmetic (the pool) and the addition avatars (the other two).
With the proposed changing the xp buff the avatars give would become a passive boost, so you do not need an avatar to be behind you.
In addition to get the maximum xp buff you would need to maintain your clan fealty, meaning those who want the full buff now need to start capping.
The avatar itself will become a pet like the shadow drake which you can have follow you around and (someone correct me if i'm wrong) the avatar will override summoning familiars also.

No the time is the same. The higher ur tier of citadel the more resources/tick u get. Making capping w/o booster takes about an hour and half.

I like this the most, otherwise it's useless to build up your Citadel.

No - this is currently waiting on a piece of engine code. Once that is done it will move to testing and, if successful, release.

I just want to be sure that a clan that has three different avatars currently will still have three different avatars afterward. We love our three avatars. They all have names. We don't want two of them to be obliterated just cos it's possible to have many copies of one avatar.
After reading this thread all the way through, it doesn't look as if this *is* going to be the case. That's not what I call a good tradeoff, not at all.
The updates these changes allow down the line will need to be spectacularly desirable and useful if they're to make up for the demise of two of our beloved avatars. :'(
Even with 6% bonus to admin and no mandatory capping at my clan we don't have always avatar out. Most of us PvM and there are other activities that doesn't allow it.
Yes, I wish it was less complicated to have it out
The other thing that disturbed us was need to make people admins for avatar (:
