Which got me to thinking about a "what if":

The current grand habitat gives us an opportunity to create three avatars with different appearances. They can each have a "personality". Some clan avatars even have been given names.

Players currently select the pet they want following them. It's based on personal preference.

While the clan avatars reflect the personal taste of the clan owner (or those with permission to select the avatar appearance), pets have always been focused on the player's preferences.

Can you keep the grand habitat feature of three avatar designs to give players a choice of how their pet looks?

Giving players more choices of how their pet looks might provide an incentive to upgrade the habitat after the changes are made.

Screw what anyone else wants. Let's just NOT even poll the players that use the ACTUAL website. I'm seriously pissed about being here 15 Years and having NO consultation on a cape that reflects all I've invested into this game and community. I don't feel it should be influenced by just a handful of other nerds on /R.

As for avatars, I get the coding stuff. It's whatever to me. Just so long as Plan B wins out (see? there's already options at least here), because it seems most sensible. However, what avatars gather at the citadel should still be directed by Admin+ somehow. Avatars as followers should be required to have out for the personal buffs. That's all I'm looking for in this. Because it makes sense, will work in code, and most people would be happy with it (I think, from what I've read anyway). Clan:

I think we have a purpose in mind now for improved habitats beyond purely cosmetic but we are looking at what we can do coding wise before we say anything. Mod MattHe | Former Community Manager, now in Events & occasional Lore Monkey

With the avatar's I lost both mine I have no idea how this happened since I've worked hard to maintain upkeep every week and the numbers . I have a good week come back to the fact the avatar habitat is gone completely . I have no clue what happened . there is no possible explanation considering I have enough visits every week I have all upkeep even if I didn't I wouldn't have lost both avatars but kept tier 7 cit

I really like all the proposed changes. I think this would cause a few clans to change their rank structure a bit, but personally I'd change my Clan's ranks to fit it better :D in exchange for a new Ava system.

Really in favor of "B" and I really like the idea of clan members being able to earn extra XP. I think this would increase capping for lower tiered clans at least a little bit.
