Some more findings from over the past week.
1)
The "around the Ice Mountain region" hint activates two steps north of the Wilderness wall, at least on the west side of Black Knights Fortress. I didn't have time to check the east side of the fortress, but I assume it is the same scenario there.
North/south border between "around the Ice Mountain region" and "in the Wilderness":
11 degrees, 20 minutes north (around the Ice Mountain region)
11 degrees, 22 minutes north (in the Wilderness)
I checked the border for "west of Varrock" and "in the Wilderness" and it aligns with what wildy/north misthalin is too. I only tested with the penguin on the south side of the wall, not over it, but I can't imagine the Varrock hint would restart again above the wall. So it seems as though its just the Ice Mountain region hint that is sticking a teensy-bit further north.
North/south border between "in the Wilderness" and "west of Varrock":
11 degrees, 13 minutes north (in the Wilderness)
11 degrees, 11 minutes north (west of Varrock)
P.S. the tile in the small space north of Gob Village to the west, specifically 11 degrees, 22 minutes north. 15 degrees, 45 minutes east, activates the Wilderness clue.
2)
The ghost
may
activate a beyond detection hint somewhere around Ice Path. I caught it roaming over Trollweiss as it was heading in that direction and rushed to the other side in the hope of seeing it, but alas, I did not. There was some time in between, so it could have headed in another direction.

Luckily, thanks to the help of a friend, I have discovered a slightly faster way to get to the cave entrance for the future which will hopefully bolster my chances of sighting it on the other side a little more.
