Elipile,
Just to let you know since you mentioned it elsewhere, I have also gotten the "near big tree surrounded by short people" clue one week when there was no penguin in the Gnome Stronghold. However, once I got the clue, I ran to the Tree Gnome Village and found a penguin inside the maze.
So perhaps the clue refers to both the Stronghold and the maze (and maybe a small area around it).

Ty Brooks, great infromation.
Tree Gnome Village would be the logical explanation to the short people -clue. I know that the maze has its own music. I once walked there checking music borders, but just now I can't remember if it was same music as in Gnome Stronghold. The border runs couple of squares off the fence part of the way, and within the fence where it is most west.
Other possibility with gnomes, and also close to where CW and Observatory penguins were yesterday, is the battlefield.

I suppose it is time to change my spell book for the rest of this penguin week :)

This is slightly off topic, but have you looked at the clues for the new evil trees? I havent really done them yet but did read a few that sounded familiar to penguins. As well Termluke was telling me today that several trees are in the same area as penguin respawns.

That short people -clue has been popping up during this week. First time it was at reset, and today many times while the CW bush penguin was trapped in Ardougne castle in its most southern rooms. Also other hunters were telling about this clue in the cc.
I am assuming now that the clue has to do with gnomes at the battlefield and the spirit tree. Tomorrow I'm going to check the hidden music borders inside Ardy castle and around the spirit tree.

Canada, I checked a list of evil tree clues from one of the threads. Those clues were not similar to Larry's but I think the principle is similar. When a sapling wakes up somewhere, it activates a clue attached to that area. And it would only be logical that the developers or programmers would use the same basick structure that is already in the game and not something totally new.

So more random thoughts on the clues; have you noticed that the area around Catherby is split up in to smaller sections with the "flax" clue and "Arthur's Castle" clue, yet the entire area from the Lumby mining tutors to Edgeville is only one clue? That seems a little odd to me. Is it laziness? Is it to keep the number of clues low? It wouldn't have been hard to design a clue for Lumbridge or Varrock I imagine.
EDIT: May I make a request? Elipile, could you make a list of all the clues with the corresponding places? It is a reverse of what you already have on the first page. I find I often come here when I hear a clue to see what area it defines but want to search by clue. So just another way to cross-reference, if I am making any sense.

Yes Canada, I can add a list on post 1.10. Those questions that are on it now are actully pretty well answered, exept just the Seers- Catherby area with 4 different clues, or actually 5 if we count Fremmy clue also.

I was looking for the penguins in Seers anvil today, and on w 39 there was a rock in the anvil but also a rock just west of the anvil. I started to follow it to see where it heads. But when it was behind Sinclair Mansion, I coudn't resist to push it more east and then towards south along the east fence of the Mansion.
I found two interesting things:

Firstly, there seemed to be a barrier that the penguin just didn't go over. When I looked at it more carefully, I noticed that there was a 3 square west-east space and one square on the middle south of it. So the barrier was actually same shape as these special traps.
I did help the penguin a little and got it past the barrier.
Secondly, I went to Larry. I got near bees and flax - clue. I checked all other known bees and flax areas and there was no penguins. It seems that when a penguin is on the east side of Sinclair Mansion, it gives out near bees and flax clue. The music for that area is Mornarch Waltz and the music border, and most likely also the clue border, to Fremennik is running along the north fence of Sinclair Mansion.

W 39 rock in the Seers Anvil managed to get out. I had to logg out to make lunch and I hoped one of those rocks would go back in the anvil meanwhile.
When I came back the anvil was empty. After running around in Seers, Sinclair Mansion and Camelot I decided it was time to change my magics back to lunar.
Clues I got amongst the not changing ones were Kandarin, Misthalin, near the coast, west of Adrougne, northern desert, near some ogres.
I teled to Catherby and run searching the coast down to Witchaven. No sight of a penguin. When I asked more clues, I didin't get the near coast clue any more. So I searched almost all possible Kandarin area from Seers to Barbarian Outpost. No sight of a penguin. Again new clues and this time I got the near the coast clue again.
Again I teled to Catherby and started to search. Near Keep Le Faye I finally spotted it and it was kind enough to walk in to the trap behind the southern trees on the entrance.
I tried to find out the clue for the other runaway penguin but I only go the near the coast clue and nothing to point to Seers or further. Finally I decided I would reset this penguin, run to Witchaven to see if it was from there and search the other.
All of the sudden, while waiting for reset to happen and asking more clues, I saw another rock just behind me :D
Two squares step out and one back and I got 2 rocks in a same trap just south of Keep Le Faye.
Clue for that area is near the coast, west of Ardougbe.

Edit:
After resetting first one and then the other (they didn't reset at the same time although they were boxed in the same time) I found out that they were Witchaven and Ice Mountain.
Because of the near some ogres clue I run also to check the Oo'glog trap, and the third rock - CW - has trapped itself in there.
