- Buff desert heat to be dangerous again.
- Replace the Kal'gerion, Kethsi, RuneSpan and Reaper items from the Motherlode Maw with respective enhancers.
- Add the challenge gem titles to the dwarven challenge barrel.

~ Make it as effective as an iron or steel pickaxe (+1 maybe, scaling with level)
- Allow spirit gem drops to be toggled off (e.g. via Pikkupstix).

I love your eye for detail, especially when it comes to re-implementing small details in the form of NPCs, but your combat suggestions are mostly horrible (sorry to say it this directly, but I couldn't express it otherwise, I'll get more constructive on my feedback below) - I do not know if you write them in the PoV of an RSC designer or just an higher leveled player - it is both extremely bad
I'll go in detail what is disturbing me:
- A massive buff to troll invasion trolls will ensure breaking the activity, it already isn't anything I would call 'great', but in its current form it is good enough. I do not see an issue to slight scaling and an
optional
hard mode with increased rewards which will aim for high leveled players with good equipment
- Mutated Jandikos - they're already quite a bad task, the drops are mediocre at best, experience is outright awful but at least they can be killed quite easily - probably the only factor preventing them being an instant block. If they're buffed, drops and experience should be brought up to adequate values as well
- Regarding Polypore creatures I'll agree with ganodermic beasts (as they're identical to the runts currently), for the rest I would only agree in rising the damage caused by not sprinkling them (as this runs under ignoring the tactic), but the rest is fine as is - slight buffs could be okay
- The remaining creatures should only be buffed in a way that makes them
adequate for their levels
in RS3
- Poison damage buffs: I'll agree for high leveled sources (limited to medium levels), but your low leveled suggestions would make the game for beginners more awful (note: new players won't have venomblood, poison purge auras or anti-poison totems available on their behalf), a low leveled poison should be annoying (a few medium two digit hits at most) to allow players to get in touch with that mechanic, medium leveled sources could be buffed quite a bit, for high leveled I'll fully agree with you

- Cockroach buffs are insane, they're (in RS3, I do not care about OSRS) low leveled creatures dropping material intended for tier 30 armour (so it is fought by players with stats in the 30s with tier 20-25 armour) - and you want to suggest a max hit eating half their life?
- Removing grifolic, bat(wing) and mystic wands?! Sorry introduction of those fixed an enormous RSC design flaw, why must mages have a hard time when neither melee nor (to a lesser extent) ranged have this issue at low/medium levels. I know your dedication for minigames - but punishing low and medium players for that is simply the wrong way. I would suggest buffing the training arena items into niche tiers, so they won't compete with other items, maybe give them some neat passive effect (or special attack) - or just add unique invention components, but don't mess up low leveled magic (again) by only having overpriced stuff before you can finally pick up the tier 70 weapon of your choice for practically free
- Not a combat suggestion, but it runs under the same thing: The master runecrafter set was (before thaler and runespan) a set not worth being obtained if a player just wanted to go for skill mastery. I'll agree with increasing the price in the runespan, but in the same step the prices should be decreased in GOP in a way you'll achieve the current rates by drawing
Most of your suggestions actually sound good, I am unsure about some more of the buffs (they do not sound as wrong, but considering how you would execute some of them... I do agree though with buffing penalties for ignoring tactics (like dragonfire)), but I am all for restoring diversity by re-adding special attacks and passive effects. But my mentioned points - if they make it into the game like this, it just will cause damage. I assume you simply want to override the current values with the OSRS ones, but this simply doesn't work as most of that content is intended for different levels nowadays than it was back then in the day.

Thanks for the feedback! As a rule of thumb for the combat buffs with suggestedd numbers, what I did was take pre-EoC values and multiply them by 10 because, ya know, EoC did that with health. Due to EoC, players are able to deal much more damage to enemies per unit of time than before, and there are more healing sources in the form of abilities, Regenerate and of course banks' infinite healing. So I figured simply taking the pre-EoC values and merely scaling them to the new, multiplied-by-ten health values is a sort of minimum. If you disagree with this approach, please do argue why, though.
I'll go through your points now.
- Upon release, hard mode TI was actually quite hard, and normal mode was fine, especially since all trolls scale with your level. However, EoC broke level scaling (see Dungeoneering bosses) and everything is too easy. I can one-hit almost all trolls with a level 70 weapon, and Cliff in particular is a joke. So yes, I stand by the suggestion that the trolls require a serious buff, with level scaling in mind. Also, recall that the archers are there to help out and the healing vial can be used five times per wave to restore everything and give 100% adrenaline. The D&D should not be obscenely hard (though hard mode should be a challenge) but in its current form it's absolutely trivial.
- I see no harm in buffing their combat/Slayer xp. But being able to defeat a high-level slayer creature like the Jadinko male in three hits with my trusty godsword without taking any damage at all is not really okay.
- I'll confess I haven't much experienced in the Polypore Dungeon; presumably Jagex know what kind of buff is adequate. I only know for sure the ganodermic beasts are a bit of a joke, and presumed the rest of the creatures could have a polish too.
- As for the remaining creatures, of course I was aiming for buffs appropriate to their requirements etc. and not for mini Graardors.
A number of slayer monsters have been buffed [cont.]

Perhaps you're half right; perhaps we can't win. But we can fight.
a fair bit since EoC, and some quest bosses too - my list contains a few that were missed and are much too easy for their level now, e.g. turoth. I certainly wasn't envisaging war machines being bred, haha.
- As for poison, I think my explanation above should suffice, with the added note that even the weakest antipoison completely cures any standard poison. Mostly, the poison values seem appropriate to their context; Pyramid Plunder is for low levels too and you get poisoned a lot, so 200 (the old value was 20, mind) seems reasonable, as antipoison supplies are simply part of one's PP setup. Bush snakes indeed have an abnormally high value, but that's because they're a very particular danger to Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup and anyone playing that will be carrying antipoison for sure. Tribesmen too are abnormally poisonous for their level, but that's always been a danger of Karamja and they aren't aggressive (and shouldn't be!). Cave slimes and crawlers are slayer mosnters infamous for their potent poison; without it they're nothing at all. Scarab swarms have deliberate low health but are dangerous to pyramid explorers only because of their potent poison. Etc.
- For cockroaches, I also simpyl EoC'd their old stats. While the weaker ones may be killed by level 30s and such, the soldiers actually used to be "endgame F2P monsters" and I certainly recall players in adamant and rune fighting them. They indeed drop carapace, but that is also obtainable from their much weaker ilk so I see no problem there. Originally the soldiers were intended to be a good monster for med-/high level F2P players - if that's changed, I am unaware. Perhaps their drops could be amended to conform?
- I disagree that weapons and armour should be readily avaliable at every tier, but you do have a point. Buffing the MTA wands might be a better idea than removing their cheaper duplicates. Either way, I hope you'll agree the current situation is worse than either solution, though.
