Things I would love to see:
Porch (either ground floor or second floor with or without a room below it): could have seating, grill, telescope, maybe some kind of entertainment and of couse storage for food that can be made on a grill (can't have a deck party without lots of food!).
Fish tank: Everyone else knows what I'm talking about.
Green house: already mentioned here
Exotic creatures area: use hunter skill to capture exotic creatures and house them in a cage at your house (small to large creatures)
Pictures room: Able to take pictures of landscapes and pay to have them "developed" by an npc and post them at 12+ hotspots in a room (with RS3 draw distance could could have some cool pictures. It could show off where you've been!
Where in runescape to place the house: When entering the POH portal you don't just have flat land and small draw distance but actual scenery, keldagrim, gnome stronghold, elven lands, etc
More rooms: you either have a big house or big dungeon, I want both.
Be able to move rooms without loosing the stuff inside them.
