The hag wore an old dusty robe, hood back. She had thin wiry hair; Analee could see the fireplace and its fire through the witch's hair. The witch had cracked, wrinkly skin, a hooked nose, and almost looked like a zombie or something, looking older than ancient. She was also very tall. Talarin was speechless, and Buruk did nothing either, keeping one paw off the floor.

“I ain't gotten visiders... in quite th' while.” the witch hissed slowly and weakly, her raspy voice sounding like it was always out of air. She had a farmgirl's accent. The witch remained stone-faced, not even blinking. “Hihhv a seat, ladies first.” the witch said with that raspy, hissing voice of hers, still not looking anywhere.

It seemed the witch proposed Analee to sit in the other rocking chair, ladies first, after all. Although the witch and her voice was anything but welcoming, Analee sensed the hag meant no harm. She also sensed the witch was a very powerful sorceress, but also something... more.

“I think you should take a seat.” Talarin squeaked with a whisper.

Raven – Prologue

She dreamt she was lying somewhere, on something very cold. She tried to move, but couldn't. Opening her eyes, she looked around, and although everything was just blackness, for some reason, she could sense... things. She could fee the area, able to imagine it as if it was without darkness... Ah, yes, these damn catacombs, the very place she was locked in for how long? She could sense skeletons buried in the catacombs, in the earth, in the walls...

Suddenly, she felt herself moving, as if being carried. She was somehow placed upon an altar. Looking around, she could see in the dark, and saw skeletons emerging from the walls, pushing themselves out of it, then walking to hear. Hearing stone lids sliding off and echoing then thudding, she heard—and sensed—skeletons opening their own sarcophagi, step out, then walk to her.

“Demon.” one skeleton said, its jaw moving as it spoke.

“Demon.” a few skeletons said at the same time.

“Demon.” several skeletons said at the same time.

“Demon.” all the skeletons said at the same time. At that, all the skeletons, like mimes, moved at the same time, very slowly, gradually raising their bony hands to their faces, as if afraid.

“Flesh.” one skeleton said, its jaw moving as it spoke.

“Flesh.” a few skeletons said at the same time.

“Flesh.” several skeletons said at the same time.

“Flesh.” all the skeletons said at the same time, then they all lowered their hands at once, and slowly walked to her, until they were tightly packed together, then they slowly leaned over her. She still could not move, as if paralyzed, and then felt the skeletons pushing their bony fingers into her body, their fingers poking through her skin and tissue, knocking against her bones, and then they pulled handfuls of flesh off her bones, and started eating her, as if her body was red jelly.

As the skeletons devoured her, her body kept regrowing, and they kept eating, the skeletons slurping, chewing and breathing loudly. As they ate, they gradually regained their own flesh, regrowing muscles, organs, meat, tendons, veins, and then, skin.

When their skin finished regrowing, all the skeletons looked exactly like her master the one who betrayed her. They continued eating her regenerating body until they became fat, bulging so much, they started breaking apart, bodies bursting open and gushing blood and chewed flesh. The bursting bodies ate with greater vigour, and then she felt her chewed body... transforming.

She became a demon, and then could move, and wrecked the many bodies that ate her, and in turn, she devoured them all, hearing each and every single victim scream, wail, cry, and moan.

She did not care she was eating her own regenerated flesh, she ate everything, teeth crushing bones, ripping tendons and muscles, and using her claws to move meat down to the bone. Everything tasted so good; she wanted more...

She literally clawed her way through the earth, and emerged somewhere, seeing a vast forest on fire. Flames and smoke flowed through her, so she flew. In the sky, she saw a dragon, with scales like mirrors, blasting fire everywhere, putting the forest, the castle, and the town around the castle on fire. As the flames rose higher and higher, it swarmed the castle, and the dragon roared, and dove towards her... at the same time, a small devilish figure fell down from the castle keep. The dreamer thought that maybe she could swoop down and catch the falling thing, but that meant she would also have to dive into the flames...

Raven – Awakening

What a terrible dream, or maybe it wasn't that bad... When Raven awoke, she was still where she had been for so long: locked away in the catacombs of some fortress outside Rome. She could feel suffering in the earth, for whatever reason, but then again, the ground here was cursed. It wasn't fun sitting in blackness, locked away to rot.

The guards only gave her enough food so that she would always starve, yet not actually die of starvation. Nevertheless, her sarkamancy kept her body with a boyish build, though it would be nice to eat, even though anything and everything tasted like blood. Oddly enough, she felt like she was being watched.

Somehow, in some way, she could see silhouettes moving in the darkness. Then, pair by pair, large white circles appeared, like eyes, for each silhouette, the eyes so white and bright, they cast beaming little spotlights upon Raven. The silhouettes did nothing, just staring at her, then she heard a heartwarming giggle of an excited girl, sounding from... above herself? What was going on?

Fortress Naamoth

Despite being amidst twenty elves and many more devils, Poca thought no one could notice her. Rather than simply push the ladders off the walls, or simply stand in front of the top of the ladder and simply attack those climbing up, or simply put the dry wooden ladders on fire with her pyromancy, Poca decided to look into her backpack for supplies. Whatever supplies she had was anyone's guess.

Since all three siege ladders were left alone, several more Vaal'Amar poured in within seconds. The elf fighting those climbing up one ladder was pushed in the back, and hurled out the wall and fell to his incapacitation. Few by few, the remaining elves were gradually overwhelmed by mass of numbers, pulled down, piled, and had knives rammed into the gaps of their armour or into the visors, and stabbed repeatedly. The elves dropped their weapons and unsheathed their daggers to stab back as best they could, but were nevertheless at hopeless odds.

Miranda awoken suddenly, a headache pounding inside her head like someone was beating on drums. She lifted a hand to her head as she pushed herself up off the floor into a sitting position. What had happened? Sitting there, she began to recall how she ended up here.

She remembered finishing a job, a job in which she was hired to steel a secret scroll for someone. Reaching around, she reached into her bag and pulled it out. She exhaled with relief once she saw she still had it. As she put it back, that's when she saw the dead bodies. "What the hell?" She whispered to herself as she gazed around. What had happened? How long was she out?

Miranda stood up just as the place started to shake. Clashing of metal could be heard, followed by yelling and screaming. Was she in a middle of a battle? Where was midnight? He was most likely in the stable. Just as she was preparing to head out to find her horse, chuckling could be heard. But it didn't sound human. "Crap" she mumbled to herself. Miranda quickly began looking around. There was twonways out, one to outside where a fierce battle was taking place, and one to the hallway where somethjng was coming. She was going to have to fight.

"Sorry, I'm going to have to take this off your hands" she said to a dead elf as she prayed his spear out of his hands. Miranda was far from a trained solder but she did know how fight. She was after all a thief and an assassin, and a very agil one at that.

Looking around, she tried to think what she could do to help her fight. She after all played dirty. In the corner she saw barrels of liquor. A smile appeared on her face. Walking over, she grabbed the extinguished tourches and lit into with the flickering candle. "This should be fun" she said to herself.

Miranda pullwd anrooe from her bag and tossed it into the hook above the door. Pulling herself up, she hung there and waited. Once these..creatures walked in, she would jump down.

There were only 30 night guards all around Astriki, but they had immense faith in Captain Emily Peacehaven. Emily was only 19 and measured in at 5' 1'', but she was a well known tactician around these parts, and she had previously fought in a naval battle against the Bonoman State hailing from Africa. Bonoman was quickly rising in power, and Emily was recruited into the Hellenistic guard to stop them raiding an old temple housing gold statues made in honour of their gods. Although the guard lost to an overwhelming assault by Bonoman, who had invested in stronger weaponry and taken Canideans from the wild to fight and work for them, the Helens had nonetheless put up a fierce fight.

Emily walked alongside Salvatore as she talked about her experiences on the ship, holding a hand over her left cheek which still had those large tooth marks on it. "I'll never forget the whimper that thing made when I ran him through. That's how I managed to save the statue of Neptune, and hid it on me before they could take it away...oh, but I shouldn't be rambling about that sort of stuff. Still having nightmares?"

Sally was drinking in what Emily had said; he had never been into war before, and often wondered whether it was like an adventure. He looked down and murmured, "Yeah. I still don't know what it means, though." When they reached the cape and the deep blue of night set in, she put a hand on his shoulder as he ran his other hand over Nightstar's mane, and said gently, "You're strong, Sally. All of you are," she said a bit louder to 2 of the other guards. "You are the reason why Astriki sleeps sound, and she will continue to do so while -"

"Ship at 11 o'clock!" shouted one of the guards, interrupting Emily's rousing speech. Everyone turned to the sea and Sally raised his staff which glowed white, raising the alarm. Then he mounted Nightstar, and both rider and mount began to glow a radiant white as the stars glimmered brightly...

The voice grew louder as they approached. She needed something to drawl ten into the room. Once they were close enough, Miranda yelled out. "Help! I'm in here!"

Miranda's voice echoed. The sound of voices and footsteps stopped, then commenced once again. Slowly she watched as the thjngs walked into the room, looking around. Once they were far enough from the door, she dropped with a thud. "Hello" she said. With no time to waist, she tossed the tourch towards the barrels. Turning, she shut the door and ran. Before she was far enough away, a loud boom erupted, causing the pressure to send her flying through the air.

Mirand landed with a thud and rolled as rumble fell from the ceiling into her. Miranda coughed and slowly picked herself up. The room was full of dust. Picking up the spear, she took off down the what remained of the hallway to outside. Looking around, she spotted the stables. her only option was to teleport. But to do that she had to be uninterrupted. Closing her eyes, she thought of where she wanted to go. Was she going to make it or was something going to stop her before she could?

Witchs hut

Anlee slowly entered the hut. It was simple but yet, it wasn't. She gazed around at the rocking chair, the shelves with herbs and why not. There was no one, the place seemed to be empty. Just as she was going to turn around and leave, a old lady appeared in the once empty rocking chair. Analee jumped a little at the sudden sight of her.

Th witch spoke in a voice which have Analee goosebumps. Looking at the other rocking chair, she slowly walked over and sat down, Buruk next to her side. She sensed that she wasn't in danger but there was something more to her. "We" she began, looking at Talarin and then back to the witch, "we were wondering if you could help us. My people, they were attacked by the darkbeast and were taken."

Poca found an container of oil in her backpack and remebered that she has bow and arrows. She dump the arrows heads in the oil and lit on them on fire with her fire power. Then shot them she shot them at the ladders hoping it hits them. -Dances-
