Normally, the mercenaries would have simply been swarmed and piled, but the presence of the fire elemental—radiating its heat and able to cast fiery projectiles—was an unnerving sight to behold, and too hot to walk into. The numerous bombs, Molotovs, pyromancy of Darius and his fire elemental, created so much heat that a few spots of nearby buildings have caught fire; the flames are spreading gradually and producing smoke.
Also, the devilish beings were quite brutal and aggressive, often throwing themselves upon weapons or charging amidst bombs, clearly exhibiting hyperaggression, fighting recklessly even when blinded by blinding grenades, peppered by shrapnel, or stabbed by weapons, some even writhing up sword blades and then fighting while impaled. The devils even fought themselves at times.
A group of gliders flying perhaps fifty feel above flew across the scene, dropping Molotov cocktails as they glided, gliding off beyond the buildings as their Molotovs struck helms or the ground and poured flames out at the unfortunately victims. All of this chaos allowed the mercenaries to get into the alleyway, but immediately, a group of a dozen devils overcome by hyperaggression charged down the alleyway, raising their arms and shaking their heads, growling like beasts; their charge seemed unstoppable by conventional means...

How your group is arranged is up to you, but how you depict the arrangement of your group, including the fire elemental, will be important in dealing with this situation.
You can autohit about half the devils, but due to their hyperaggression, they cannot react to pain, fear or fatigue, meaning they are running amok while in psychopathic psychosis, so you will have to be crafty and clever to stifle their charge.
