Fortress Naamoth
The devil dealt with, Poca took its spiky shield, why not? This also meant the total weight of her armour, backpack, supplies and shield began to take its toll, and she would not be as agile as she normally would be. Since she wore an elven soldier's helm, the other elves would not know she was a prisoner, but would not be convinced she was a real soldier, either.
Once she got up to the walls, a catapulted boulder smashed into it, and with the quickness and reflexes of a ferret, Poca quickly dispatched a few of the Vaal'Amar, stabbing through their necks or into their stenum to take them out; at the same time, a few elves jumped to fight with her, stabbing into and pressing the devils down with their glaives to help her kill them. Then, she cast fiery projectiles at the other devils, the flames roaring loudly in the interior of the wall, exploding against the devils and putting them on fire, which made them howl aloud and panic, dancing from pain! The blazing devils were easy targets for the elves.
Poca did not seem to initiate anything against the siege ladders outside that led up the walls and allowed the devils to pour through the windows or holes. A few of such ladders reached the holes outside, and few by few, more Vaal'Amar appeared; it was only a matter of time before too many devils swarmed into the wall. One devil charges Poca, so she rammed her spiky shield into his arms, stifling his attack, then stabbed him in the waist, where blades easily pierced, and he was then finished-off by an elven halberdier.
“Watch out! Enemy reinforcements climbing the siege ladders!” one of the glaiviers shouted.
One brave elven soldier gripped his halberd in both hands and charged, ramming it through a devil just as the devil reached the wall, and pushed him off the wall, glaive still inside the devil's body (but this also meant the elf lost his glaive).
