Gideon's Tomb
Memories flowed, as did reflexes and muscle memory. After defeating Darkbeasts and losing a weapon or two, a number of the beasts were defeated, including the Prowler.
Meanwhile, Tsakirr had fought to the best of his abilities, a swordsman in constant motion, always cutting into incoming hands, wrists and thighs, and occasionally utilized his magical swirling darkness to strike back foes. As a psionic, he would also dodge, his skips boosted by his psionics that propelled him with greater vigour. At times, he used his psionics to seemingly stun or stifle a Darkbeast, leaving it vulnerable to slices.
The darkness and its black and red fog continued growing, and the two Unhallowed overheard a shriek coming from outside. The shriek was very long, yet at the same time, it did not sound stressed. At that, more silhouettes began appearing, and just when Gideon was probably about to fight one, something grabbed him by both legs. He fell, and was dragged out one of the arched window frames, and then suddenly found himself hanging upside-down!
Looking around, glowing whiteness beaming out his visor, Gideon realized that a very long arm, with multiple elbows along its length, had grabbed him, the fingers so long they grasped around both his greaves. The arm was of shadows, the same as the other Darkbeasts but, apparently, sticking out the shadowy ground, thirty feet long, and having an elbow every five feet.
The first Darkbeast Gideon saw stood where he stood, arms raised and head tilted back, then it scrunched up, knelt, and sprang upright, and shrieked again. At that, the shadowy multi-elbowed arm raised Gideo and slammed him against the wall of his tomb, impact causing dust to fall, but his rusty armour remained intact.
