“Hm... it must be nothing. Let's keep going, there's nowhere to leave to, anyways.” Talarin remarked, looking at Bane, Bane looking back, then Bane turned on Analee's shoulder, facing backwards, and slightly cawed.
Talarin walked forth, and Analee sighed. But, she trusted him, and followed him, gripping her bow firmly, ready.
After about half an hour of walking, everyone overheard an odd noise, sounded like something digging rapidly something. Immediately, Analee spun around, bow in hand, arrow nocked, and Talarin and Buruk also turned around. About fifty feet away from everyone, was a tree, the exact same tree they saw earlier. Surely, after half an hour of walking, they would have went well beyond fifty feet? What was it doing here now? Bane whistled, and flew off of Analee's shoulder, flying to the tree, flying over it, and cawing at the tree, then flew off to land on a branch of the nearest tree.
“That looks like the same tree from last time, what's it doing here?” Talarin asked.
Talarin was quite confused, so he faced the hut again, seeing that the silhouette of the hut was clearer, somewhat illuminated as the sun just began rising over the horizon, revealing a simple chimney, fence, chicken coup, and garden, and behind the hut seemed to be a wild wheat field. It would still take perhaps ten minutes to reach the hut on foot. The lone tree creaked...
