IMPORTANT WORDS, STORIES AND PLACES
Below is a glossary of the names of words and places that could be unfamiliar, and would be useful for players to recognize.

The Story
Refers to the entirely of time. It started at the Beginning, and will eventually end with the conclusion of the universe.

Eonfold
Refers to the universe and all possibilities. Eonfold is everything that has, will, and can happen, all together at once. Gods exist in the Eonfold, allowing them to move freely between all time periods, realms, and alternate realities. In other words- Everything.

Realms
Realms are worlds created by gods. They are often governed by one or more gods

Divine Powers
Most gods possess an array of powers that are, too them, as simple as breathing. Most can create something from nothing- beings, items, even small worlds. They are also often capable of changing their physical forms. Gods are in fact concepts and beliefs rather than physical entities- their form is simply their way of interacting with things, and they shape it however they see fit. Gods are also typically able to bless and curse mortals with gifts or misfortunes. A god’s powers are easy to enact upon mortal beings, and those beings created by gods, but only the most powerful, eldest gods have power over other gods. Consequently, when a god is engaged in conflict against another god, they often send armies, avatars, and acolytes in their stead to fight against those of their foes.

The Gods Have Their Own Rumors of How Humanity Came to Be

Most gods know that humans were created by a very, very old god named Prometheus. Some say this was intentional, others think it was an accident, but one set into motion by the First and the Second.
The first humans were strong, and brilliant minded.
Jupiter was afraid of them, and the power they could give to Prometheus, who was a kind of rival to Jupiter. Gods have a hard time fighting one another and ever reaching an end, but they have an easier time pitting armies against each other, and the first humans would have made a good army.

Jupiter destroyed many of them, scattering and weakening the rest (so rumors go).
What humans remained would have been primitive and “caveman-like” after Jupiter was finished with them.

Needless to say, Prometheus lost the fight that Jupiter began in his fear. Prometheus was imprisoned thereafter by Jupiter (most believe). Most say that one of Jupiter's brothers is keeping him.

The Power of Knowing

Gods’ omniscience comes for a power called “Knowing” (capital K). This gift can be weak in some gods, and strong in more powerful gods- but it is present in nearly every god and even in the rarely gifted mortal.
It is a sense of sorts, allowing gods to suddenly know information as if they are realizing something, or remembering something they have always known and forgotten.
For example, a god might see another god he has never met, and suddenly Know the latter god’s name and affiliation, perhaps even some of their history. Gods can come to Know nearly anything—though not aspects of the Story that have not taken place yet (such Knowing is reserved only for gods that were present during the writing of the Story).
It is said that the first gods were “All-Knowing” and their Knowledge came to them all at once upon creation and they Knew everything that was and would come to be.
Knowing is one of a god’s greatest abilities, finest tools, and most powerful weapon

The Dynamics of the Eonfold

It’s difficult for mortals to grasp what exactly the Eonfold IS. Gods understand it perfectly however- as all times and places. Imagine that everything that there are many universes, all in their own separate pockets. Some universes would be familiar to you, for example- Earth. But there are also worlds of fairy folk and other such strange beings.
Now imagine that there are multiples of these worlds. There are “pockets” containing every time that has passed. A pocket of ancient Egypt, one of ancient Greece. And of course, these pocket worlds also exist as “parallel world”- things that could have been. Every decision forms a new version of a world.

As time passes and as decisions are made, more worlds bloom into existence, meaning that there are new worlds constantly forming in the Eonfold. Gods can walk freely through these pockets- meaning that they can be anywhere that is- or was, or could have been.
Only the future is untouchable (though some gods, and even some mortals, can perceive the future in their mind’s eye).

Each god also has the power to create a world linked to them- a personal home realm. (Truly powerful gods like Jupiter and Odin, can even make many such places). These realms are accessible only by permission, but are still considered to be part of the Eonfold.

Earth Worlds and Last Earth

Last Earth is one of many “Earth” worlds within the Eonfold. Each Earth is exists in a different moment, or alternate possibility of the world’s past. Last Earth is the most *recent” of all of them. It is a kind of “source Earth,” that exists as far in the future as it is possible for gods to travel. It is ever advancing into the future, breaking off into more versions of the Earth world.
Earth is the home of the majority of humans—the being from which most gods receive most of their worship.
It is believed to be central to the Story, as it is said that it is the place in which Prometheus first created humanity.
